@lvonestopshop It's not difficult if you have the right group composition and everyone knows how to fight it. :) If you have never done it before and constantly die to the damage reflect, or you don't have someone that can hold the monsters to the side, it may end up being very difficult since he heals himself by eating his small castle golems. But once you do it a couple times, it's easy. :)

@DarkSlimeAngel I recommend shield mastery since it's going to help you passively. :) HIgher level chakra is pretty useful for later on when you boss with Von Leon and stuff so you can heal despite the pot cooldown but while training, you'll hardly use it. :)

@bennyt914 The reward is actually just a drop of coins from Von Leon. If you collect enough coins/tokens (I guess they're more tokens) you can turn them in for rewards. It isn't an individualized treasure-box hitting thing. It's more an expedition-wide thing. How you distribute the tokens or the rewards is up to you but it takes multiple runs to get anything.

@bobbyikkaku bosses are ment for bossing and mobbing O_O and are especially good in dojo since we shadowers have charka (Heals HP, only if your HP is below half).

@bobbyikkaku Nope not at all. Shadowers are not fragile at all actually. The problem with Horntail is that it's glitched so people have to solo it pretty much, and then there's always a chance that while seduced, you die by random ice or body blows. Meso guard keeps us alive generally but even that can only do so much. Smokescreen is there for extra time. I would say the biggest problem we'd have at HT though is that we can't meso explode as easily. Have to rely on the old bstep macros.

@TisforTaco The first song is the actual music that you hear when fighting Von Leon. :) I don't know that there's a genre for it other than video game music but it seems like Nexon is offering better-crafted pieces for their bossing nowadays.

Just so you know it is a great idea if you have a person casting magic crash that will remove dmg reflect from him, preferably there should be two of them cuz it has a min cooldown and has a success rate

@zppoter Yep. :) This strategy doesn't take that into consideration mostly because it's a Shadower's strategy. But you're right, I didn't include that tidbit in the video and I imagine that's why people have downrated my video so many times. haha

In our Cloudless run, we have our two awesome warriors dksoi and soret4lifekk alternating on the magic crash, with others helping as needed if they are around. It goes by extremely fast. Much faster than the Sengarasu run that I learned from first.

@TheBanned0ne To charge assassinate you just have to be in dark sight and the longer you are in dark sight the higher the charge goes and the higher the damage up to a certain point. :)

@PiMpStAnLeY Yeah it's the only way basically to keep them from getting in the way. :( I mean, you can do it without putting them in the corner but he would probably be able to heal along the way, and you wouldn't be able to be sure to hit Von Leon instead of the monsters without some luring back and forth. For your build, that's up to you. :) Dark Flare does do some extra damage over time, but surviving seems to be a more important thing. :)

nice vid :), but i got a question more about your character as the boss: what is hp wash? maybe this sounds stupid but i really don't know what it is and it comes back at some of your vids/comments.

@TheKoekepeer You use AP resets to reset points out of MP into HP. When you level up you get a certain amount of MP and you get 1 extra per 10 int you have when you level up. Once you have enough extra MP you can put a point in HP and then reset a point out of MP to put either into HP or into your primary stat. I don't remember the exact formula, but you can look up an HP washing guide. :)

@thethirdbirthday I did HP wash but not nearly as much as I know I should have. haha :( The nice thing is that self-HB Potential, Rex Earrings, and Czak helm all help towards getting higher HP. I often see people flaunting their 30K HP and I wish I had that much.

@xxragesonicxx Okay so basically the token he drops at the end (the little medal) can be collected and then eventually turned in for a Von Leon weapon. People are paying high prices for these items. I know people that are crazy who are buying them for 4 billion and up. Then you split the money with your runners and make money! :)

@ThacaMS hehe it really doesn't seem hard to make cause I know recepies for 130 weapons are possible to get from PvP box (you need to do a lot of PvP points to obtain). and the umm 140 weapons are obtainable through defeating the new boss cygnus... its like PB with pot cool down and you cannot always hit it x.x.

And plates are much easier to make after wards. Btw to create things like weapons and armor you have to be a blacksmith and high lv stuff wow u need a higer blacksmithing x.x.

@TheSlothFiend Thanks. :) I am personally considering putting more points into Chakra soon because I'm reaching the level cap and may have extra points to put in. If you put points in it instead of Dark Flare but never do Von Leon though, I don't think it would be as useful. But high chakra would really help, I found in one case that I wasn't healing myself enough with chakra and died even though I was spamming the ability.
