so this was an awesome effect. very creative. you helped me out a lot man. now since lens flares are generally nothing more than color i've found that using a large brush setting with the hardness on 0 you can mix and match plenty of different colors and really harness control over the effect. you can also change the background color. mix and match stuff. i've come up with some cool stuff, thanks man

@PenniRockx I had the same problem. Try using divide. The effect looks a little different but i think it still looks pretty cool.

okay i downloaded it but when i opened filter to click the plug in their was nothing and when i downloaded it a window appeared to show me some files i clicked run shall i click save?? and if run is right why cant i find it on filter???

@nadashley ok drag that plugin file to the plugin folder in photoshop. should be something like C:/program files/adobe/photoshop/(either resources or it just has a plugin folder right there I don't remember)

i found that if u put a layer of gaussian noise set at 25% and monochromatic above the cloud layer and set it to screen that it gives it a nice galaxy look

THIS PLUGIN IS NOT NEEDED TO MAKE THE COLLIDASCOPE EFFECT!!!!!!

all you need to do to make that effect is to copy the layer flip horizontal, set the layer option for screen, then copy THAT layer

flip vertical now copy and rotate layers as much as you want to continue making awesomeness.

if you want them to get weirder do filter > wave first
