@cheifguru Tasteless is the most competent english caster I know, unlike the half-assed youtube commentators who sit at home and cast VODs, this guy LIVES in Korea, and casts the big tournaments live while at the sporting event. Or at least he used to before Starcraft II fucked up GomTV and evrything else. He is also more skilled at the game than the commentators you will find on youtube, I think he was A- on ICCup once.

@cheifguru Tasteless and his brother Day9 have been estranged from their father since childhood. They lived in a small town in Kansas raised by a single working mother. They were not well off, and worked their asses off at startcraft. Tasteless was found as a commentating talent at the 2005 WCG Qualifiers. He did such a good job he was asked to cast the WCG Grand Finals. He got to Korea after GomTV approached him and asked him to be an English commentator for their Starleague.

@cheifguru I said that in response to you saying he was some spoiled kid who got in because his daddy sent him to Korea. He's proven himself as a pro gamer. And the point of his commentating isn't technical analysis. Its for entertainment. You don't watch a professional football game to get better at football. You watch game film with a coach to do that. This is made purely to be entertaining and this was his first time doing so. If you don't like it you can just not watch it instead of trolling

@cheifguru Klazart is definitely a good commentator as well. The reason that tasteless lives in Korea is because he was hired. Unlike the youtube commentators, he is professional and can make a living off commentating starcraft. Part of that job means that he has to appeal to noobies as well, but he knows more than youd think. Regarding his skill: He used to be A- on Iccup when he played, and I saw a replay of him winning against Idra, Klazart of the others wouldnt be able to do that.
Only in South Korea will you find girls loving you for playing video games. Only there will you find parents approving of their childern playing video games. =.)

For every pro gamer there are a thousand wannabe pros who accomplish nothing, and I know for a fact that former WCG Starcraft champion Xellos lived with his mother who forced him to move his computer to the living room so that he couldnt play games instead of studying so therefore he had to practise at night after his mother went to sleep and he learned to starcraft play silently, then got her approval once he was signed onto a pro team.
Tasteless' quite a character in the SC Korean pro-gaming scene.
Is it that protoss don't have any choice but to eventually go carriers?. Stork did even tho Flash got goliaths pretty early with very few vults. Not to mention, he also saw that strat fail against Flash in 1st and 4th game.
