Chiropractic has kept me going for years after some major injuries. Otherwise I would have had to have risky back surgery. It's not just an endorphin release. It works.
What would you say to someone who had scoliosis and has rods in their back. Is Chiro even possible. I think I have sciatic nerve problems. Pain from my lower back that shoots down to my head and through out legs. I also had another surgery on the back of my neck called Kuir malfumation. I have a dura patch in my neck to help my spinal fluid flow freely.
I am no Chiropractor, nor do I play one on TV. I read two books on the subject, and now I practice daily on my 3 year old. I always try for a louder crack noise than the last.
Anyways, how do I know if I have TMJ? I've been reading some of the symptoms and I only a 2 or 3 of them. I don't feel any pain in the morning, no headaches.. my jaw's only locked 3 times, and it does crack when I open my mouth wide enough and close it. I've never felt any pain in the jaw either.. could I have TMJ, though?
There is no evidence that chiro can treat TMJ problems. First please define what is wrong with the TMJ? what is your diagnosis. all i saw you do is jam her jaw backward and some cervical adjustments. Make the connection for us please.
I'm glad you posted this... I've had numerous adjustments, and never had an adjustment for my wrist when having problems in that area. Now I know they can do this for a patient
i'm having horrendous clicking and pain in my tmj and have been on soft foods for two weeks. my face is swelling and have muscle knots all over my face. i'm supposed to go see my chiropractor on monday. i've never had a tmj adjustment before i'm very nervous. i just want to be able to have my life back again. thank you for showing this video. it's good to know there is hope out there!
@bcscover The risk of stroke has been correlated at 1-3 per million adjustments. There exists no proof that the adjustment actually caused the stroke... only that a stroke occured within a specified timeframe after being adjusted. A pre-existing condition most likely preceded the adjustment, which is why chiropractors are vigilant in their examinations.
@drcarlrafey Hello Dr I just reccently got hit in the jaw in boxing without a mouthpiece and my jaw is making poping sounds on the right side, and moves slightly back when i move my bottom jaw foward. It hurts to open my mouth all the way and when i chew solid food. What is the best thing to do see a chiropracor or go to an orthodontist??
this is a bunch of hocus pocus bullshit. chiros are generally a bunch of charlatans.
he spends two seconds doing a single quick stretch to the tmj, while the rest of his manipulations are providing a general endorphin release. by the time he is done, she feels so good that she actually believes he did something for her tmj.
There are no benefits of this "adjustment" to the tmj. she has to keep going in order to get that cascade of endorphins.
@drasadi2929 so i am guessing that you would give some pain meds and muscle relaxers to mask the pain and cause of what is going on right? that should be against the law... look at a peer reviewed journal and look how many deaths come from meds and MDs... and u signed correctly ignorant!

I'm a bit scared..especially regarding neck manipulation, there were a lot of case reports that caused stroke or fracture or even death..
healthy people is fine, but unhealthy ppl would have serious side effect after chiro treatment.
just google those,, u will see many cases
