After listening to this sad melody, I remembered not so much the terrible atrocities of Christian-Muslim relations (and both sides have been guilty of many crimes), but rather the tragedy of teaching young people to sing a song that rehearses and memorializes ethnic hate over the new commandment of Jesus our God. yes there were but just bystander. they didn't had their own coutry. in meadival times there was Byzantine Empire at the place where is Albania now. Serbia is then lined with Byzantine Empire, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Kingdom of Hungary.

no Djakovica and Peć are of slavic origin entire name of Kosovo is of slavic serbian origin and altering the name doesn't make it albanian.Djakovica got it's name from the word djak which means student but in that time meant student in monastery or from the word djakon-the lowest rank in church,Peć got it's name from word pećina which means cave because of nearby caves and entire Kosovo got it's name from Kosovo polje which means field of blackbirds,Uroshevac from tsar Urosh,etc.

In albanian its Gjakova, and Gjak in albanian is blood, makes more sense for a city, then something as you said, or lets say Viti comes from the albanian word Summer or Vinter i am not sure. and you people may have right, that most Citys are in serbian, but the fact that before 16century there were no albanians its absurd, this thought may come from the fact, that in that time most Albanians were of Catholic religion or Pravoslav religion, there are albanians stil today with this religion.

now what does that meen? well alot, because when the serbs came to that teritory they occupied it, so the Dardanians(Albanians) who lived there had to accept The Pravoslav religion, wich they did, so 1st the Albanians in kosovo were of Catholic and Pravoslav religion, and afcours the serbs changed the most citys names, because they would spell it and say it easier, wich every ocupator does it:) the Roman, Turks, every 1 did it, but some of the albanian city stil remaind

Why are you all inventing history I have just heard that you have promoted your book about albanian version of battle of kosovo in which you say that same monastairies and churches you were burning in 1999 and 2004 were built by Albanians..it's horrible to see this you are dissrespecting your already existing culture by inventing new one and if there were no Serbs in Kosovo then how do you explain 2 milion Serbs in Voivodina(north of serbia) they are the Serbs from Kosovo

Listen, I didn't say that there were no Serbs in Kosovo, I am just saying that there were Dardanians(Albanians) in Kosova before the Serbs, like Before Kosova there was Dardania.

And I am not inventing any history, think a little, i am being 100% realistic. And I didn't say only Albanians built the churches who knows, maybe they built it together, serbs and albanians.
