  • Haha same music as "Skitzo" from Nigahiga :P

  • Mark, lend me your camera... please!

  • couldn't you also just use a polarizer?

  • Very helpful thing to know. Thank you so much :)

  • Mark, what kind of reflector is used?

  • How would this work if we don't have wireless flashes? If we only have our on camera flash?

  • Brilliant Thank you :-)

  • Thanks. I was able to apply this lesson to lighting shotglasses with writing so that I was able easily read the writing in the final pic.

  • Maybe this sounds crazy to use in the studio, but what about CPL filter?

  • Just wondering is adorama a licensed dealer of canon and nikon cameras

  • what can i do for example with a beetle wish is almost spherical? it will reflect light from almost every angle!!

  • Why don't they provide you with a bigger table? All of those cameras on that tiny table makes me nervous.

  • Cool

  • Great, but what if it's on camera flash and a mirror is involved, then what?

  • Years ago someone shared this equation with me: Physics+Art=Photography

  • oww, EYEglasses, I thought he was saying iGlasses... Figures :P

  • really informative tips, tks :D

  • Great 1 on 1 video. I did notice that there was a "self portrait" when the flash was moved up high at 4:04 and 5:22 in the video. I saw reflection of Mark in Monique's glasses.

  • excellent video theres a little physics for ya...gotta love the stuff

  • Love this whole series. Slowly making my way through all the Digital Photography 1 on 1 vids. Keep up the great work. The bloopers at the end are fun too.

  • Thanks Adorama. You've cured my Angle of Despair! Very helpful indeed!

  • allotica!

  • so simple yet only after your teaching my problems are solved:) lol

  • That was just too amazing!!!

  • would it be possible to eliminate reflections with a polarizing filter?

  • @ravishkhare on the right of the channel, there is a list of playlist. Click the first one and the right bar will open episodes in reverse order, starting with the most recent one :) they have numbers in the titles, just like this one :)

  • @ravishkhare you can simply click into the AdoramaTV channel and open the playlist with 1on1 episodes :-)

    Cool video, Mark!

  • @BrotherBloat where is the playlist?

  • @BrotherBloat I found the Adorama TV channel but could not find any playlist. I found a list of links under Digital Photography 1 on 1 section but none of them mentioned any episode number. So still this is cryptic.

  • You always give reference to other related videos stating episode number like in this one 206 and 208. But how does one find that episode? Can you instead/ additionally give link to related videos in the description section below the video?

  • @ravishkhare Just click on AdoramaTV logo above left of the video which takes you too the profile. Click uploads at the top of the page. On the right you'll see a list of previous episodes. Scroll down until you fin the number you want.

  • @ravishkhare Just search for Digital Photography 1 on 1 ep ##

  • @ravishkhare Just search on youtube: EP 206: Digital Photography 1 on 1 or whatever :)

  • Comment removed

  • @ravishkhare Check out the updated links in the description. We've also added the links to the video at 6:07

  • what radio trigger is mark using?

  • @scholesville looks like a Pocket Wizard MiniTT1

  • Mark, give us some Advanced Skill Level tips! i want something to fry my brain.

  • Couldn't you use a CP to eliminate the reflection?

  • @BryanDenning2010 this eliminates also natural skin reflections and even the eyes reflection. the result is completely weird and lifeless.

0º of angle between camera and reflective surface is also not a ideal perspective to greater atuations of CP filters

  • i figured this out through experience. most of the time if i have a light to my right or left i would just move slightly until the flare is removed. this works for sunlight flare when shooting outside as well.

  • what is better profoto or speedotron for a amature

  • @tigre932 what do you need it for? you could maybe use a speed light instead of buying studio lights as some small pro companys even use just speedlights with kits on them or you asking for battery backs?

  • @xROBERTxDAVISx well i have 2 sb-900 and a sb-26 but i need more power
