Je pense que la crise ne fait que commencer (on nous bourre le mou !) ,on va droit dans le mur ouais . Même si tu n'as pas les moyens de participer à un séminaire avec Bensousan . Tu as au moins le privilége de pouvoir le jouer ,ce qui n'est pas mince quand on voit le travail qu'il y a en amont pour pouvoir le faire . Tu as un bon matériel audio et vidéo en tout cas . je vois que les travaux près de chez toi sont finis! Ton son est superbe avec ton "Zoom?" Je vois que comme moi, tu apprécies les "tempi" (pluriel de "tempo") lents!
J'ai vu dans la description de ton morceau que tu pouvais parfois voir les côtes de l'Afrique... Ça doit parfois te rappeler ta Belgique natale d'où tu peux parfois voir l'Angleterre!

Hi Pascal! Long time no see indeed! I'm always impressed by your playing. You make it look so easy and smooth, but I know it isn't easy and it must have taken you a lot of work right. Those stretched are really impressive, just like your playing and the emotion you give it.
This is lovely beyond description. So impressive. Plus, I am so jealous of that long 'pinky' since I can only reach 3 frets with my short fingers so I just turn up the vocals and hope people won't notice my fledgling rhythm skills. LOL. The best to you from America.....and we are struggling as well.
@Qpidon He has that effect on us, Pascal. Makes us want to do music, as he enjoys it so much. The camp is through Fur Peace Ranch. You can google it. He usually does one camp a summer for him. He does up close workshops occasionally the day of a concert, so keep your eyes out for the next time he's around. You could email him via the site and ask when he might do one in Europe. I was lucky anough to get a spot so I'll be heading to France in three weeks to have a bit of a holiday before it. It would have been great to see you there. Bensusan has touched my life too; in a way that I almost cannot articulate. I will never play as well as he does; but he has inspired me to play with my soul. I'll NEVER forget the night I met him in person, in the early 1990's, in a little basement theater in NYC. Only a handful of people were in the audience (which I guess is why he came to sit & chat with ME during a break!! I almost fainted) Oh, I pray that you get to his home seminar one year-if anyone deserves to be there-it's YOU!!!

I use 0.10 strings , i think im going to switch to 0,12 .
Its a lot harder for me to play with thicker gauge strings since
i havent been playing for too long but im a sucker for alternate tunings
and guitar players such as pierre micheal hedges , and ackerman.

have you been playing to achieve this perfect execucion of pirre´s tunes?

je vois que les travaux près de chez toi sont finis! Ton son est superbe avec ton "Zoom?" Je vois que comme moi, tu apprécies les "tempi" (pluriel de "tempo") lents!
J'ai vu dans la description de ton morceau que tu pouvais parfois voir les côtes de l'Afrique... Ça doit parfois te rappeler ta Belgique natale d'où tu peux parfois voir l'Angleterre!

@Qpidon Salut Pascal, j'ai chargé une vidéo il y a environ 2 semaines, je ne sais pas si tu l'as vue... J'en ai une autre prête mais comme il s'agit d'un instrument... un peu spécial, je crois que je vais attendre d'en avoir 5 ou 6 de prêtes... pour les charger. Bien à toi, Franck

OK. Bloody good stuff. This is top quality playing worthy of any concert hall. This I also like enough to start having a go at Mr Bensusans stuff..maybe...but how can I have both John Martyn & Pierre living inside me...those two may conflict? This is lovely beyond description. So impressive. Plus, I am so jealous of that long 'pinky' since I can only reach 3 frets with my short fingers so I just turn up the vocals and hope people won't notice my fledgling rhythm skills. LOL. The best to you from America.....and we are struggling as well.

@Qpidon He has that effect on us, Pascal. Makes us want to do music, as he enjoys it so much. The camp is through Fur Peace Ranch. You can google it. He usually does one camp a summer for him. He does up close workshops occasionally the day of a concert, so keep your eyes out for the next time he's around. You could email him via the site and ask when he might do one in Europe. Beautifully played! I just got the tabs and started learning this piece myself. If I can play it half as well as you I'll be happy. Sorry to hear you won't be at Pierre's seminar this year. I was lucky anough to get a spot so I'll be heading to France in three weeks to have a bit of a holiday before it. It would have been great to see you there. There would have been 2 Pierres to learn from;P I love your work, keep it up. Nathan.

Bensusan has touched my life too; in a way that I almost cannot articulate. I will never play as well as he does; but he has inspired me to play with my soul. I'll NEVER forget the night I met him in person, in the early 1990's, in a little basement theater in NYC. Only a handful of people were in the audience (which I guess is why he came to sit & chat with ME during a break!! I almost fainted) Oh, I pray that you get to his home seminar one year-if anyone deserves to be there-it's YOU!!!

D'un côté, la crise a du bon ... pour la musique !?
Pour le son : mon frère est ingénieur du son. Il m'a déjà dit qu'après avoir soigné le mixage en studio, on va faire un tour en bagnole pour voir comment ça sonne vraiment ... Youtube est une bagnole pourrie ... Et ça sonne !
