after going in training I found out that you have to input Up and Down 4 times before she finishes her salute to transform. If she is already moving her hand from her forehead without the 4, she won't transform. I found it easier to use my right hand's index finger real quick.

Oh actually, just after seeing this video i went to practice on the Remote+Nunchuk, and for everyone who plays like this, the easiest way is to (1) While holding nunchuck on left hand, also hold remote SIDEWAYS with the +Pad on the right side. This way you don't lose time placing the nunchuck somewhere. (2) With the flat part of the thumb's nail (not the edge) mash 1 and 2 buttons moving your thumb sideways as fast as you can, just practice it and you'll be able to pull it off quickly!

in (1) i meant hold both the nunchuck AND the remote sideways, and in (2) you press 1 and 2 with the flat part of your right hand's thumb :D

After plenty of experimenting, I just realized one has more button accuracy and more controlled hand movement when using the flat part of the middle finger's nail instead of the thumb's nail o-o

its possible, but it's so hard that without practice it won't really be useful. i have to keep mashing the up taunt, down taunt, up taunt as fast as i can for several seconds and i can pull it off only every several times... they shouldn't have made the switching so annoying >_>

yes and you can hold the minus botton on ONLY the wii mote not the wii mote and nunchuck, ah and i think you hold z or 2 or somtin for the nunchuck and the wii mote

Man ive been practising this and my thumb is red and cut o.o, although ive master it at 1/4, 1/2,/ 1/4, speed lol :D ive done it 3 times at normal :|

oh I just did it for wii remote and nunchuk. on the character screen hold down Z and go to the stage screen still holding Z. the little pictures showing the character selections will have Zero Suit Samus =)

I found this video to be very helpful. Although some of the comments on this video were a bit rude and not thought out very well.

The very first frame of the video explains how to transform both before a match, and during a match, so where's the confusion? Also addressing the NYGSW person, you can start out as Samus, sure. But what what happens after you do your final smash? You can either get the ball again, or transform easily. Think before you talk, idiot. =\

Hold the Z button on a 2nd controller for the CPU.

Ex. Samus is 4th player for CPU, hold R on the 4th controller and the match will start with ZSS for the CPU.

Wow, so far this has to be the best method I've tried so far, I got it down easily in about 5 minutes just like you said. My best character is Zero Suit Samus so this helps ALOT! In the character selection, choose Samus then hold L(gamecube controller) or -(wii controler), then press start choose the map then release L
