I wish I had spent more time in there though - it was a rush job I did. As for surviving a lot - you're right about that! It was finished just in time for the the Great Kanto Earthquake that destroyed most of Tokyo and Yokohama, and then it managed to get through the heavy bombing of Tokyo in WW-II. It couldn't survive Tokyo's relentless drive to destroy everything old though! It's almost as though there were a law - "Nothing old can be in Tokyo - Everything must be new!" - LHS
I just noticed I typed the wrong year for when it was destroyed. I took the video in 1991, but the building was destroyed in 1999, so it was there from 1923-1999. - LHS
Still an excellent capture of something that'll never be seen again (for real).
1923-1991 That thing sure survived a lot.

"Everything must be modern" or something like that.
But surviving the boming of WWII that's no joke.....
