Everything Kathleen said about animals is how I think of abortion. I love her but she can't be pro-animals since she had an abortion. I have had a hard time dealing with this because I am on the extreme left, and pro-life because of my love for women's rights, youth rights, and animal rights, and I listen to grunge and riot grrrl, and it was hard to see pro-choice bands. I'm pro-animal rights, and always compared abortion to killing animals since all animals are created equally.

It's great that more people are not supporting and realizing the evils of the fur industry, but watching so many celebrities protest against fur, and then wearing leather products kinda makes their opinions hard to swallow.... leather comes from cows which are ANIMALS too! and it is unbelievably cruel, but for some reason, people can turn a blind eye to someone skinning a cow for a handbag, but cause a huge uproar about bunnies being made into coats. CRUELTY AGAINST ALL ANIMALS IS WRONG.
