You would want to be in my school district. Sometime in the last month of school, the sixth graders, who graduate from Elementary to Middle School, get to go to Darien Lake, but if you're one of the lucky classes, you get to stay past school hours!!! Ah, good memories.

I managed to ride it alone before summer was over with, and it was my 2nd time riding it in four years (my first time riding (Superman) Ride of Steel was in 2000)
me and my friend went on this for the first time last may, I was chicken at first but we did get to ride it...IT'S AWESOMEE! And then in August we went again and rode six times, four were at night :)

I guess the only real reasoning I see for not letting cameras on is in case you drop them. But if it is your first time on it, it is nice to have your maiden voyage on Superman Ride of Steel on vid. One awesome ride!! You won't regret it!

One day i went and i was waiting in line for ride of steel and about half way up the lift the train stopped. Then a worker ran up the steps on the lift to take someone's camera from them. This happened about 7 times that day. Best ride in the park though, rode it 9 times that day!!

Uhhhh... you might pee your pants. If you are concerned about your safety, DON'T. You are literally THOUSANDS of times more likely to die driving on the way to an amusement park than actually dying at the park itself. Just follow the rules posted at the front of the ride's entrance, do what the ride operators say, and you'll be fine.
Actually, I like the ride a lot. I have been on 112 different roller coasters, and this one is in my top ten.

when we were there they had to shut it down cause a cart derailed...and it looked like it was gonna collapse! everytime a cart went by you see this one piece of wood flailing lol

I never thought I'd ride this ride in my whole life but I've ridden it twice. As much as I love roller coasters, this one is insane. It's been open 10 years now! You're practically being lifted up out of your seat this whole ride. I know it's something to do with force or gravity.
That ride is seriously rough! The third hill (shorter one of the first three) is the worst! You're going so fast that at the top of the short hill, you feel like you're about to fly straight up out of your seat and launched into the lake! LOL!

this ride was AMAZINGG.
i went on it friday.
you literaly have to hang on for dear life because you cant see anything on the first drop except the people head in front if you. sooo scaryy. but amazing. you literaly have to hold on tight though so you dont fly out of the seat lol.
also try the minderaser which i didnt scream on but it was super scary. i screamed on the superman, and im not a screamer. lol.

i didnt go on the predator nor will i ever.
when we were there they had to shut it down cause a cart derailed...and it looked like it was gonna collapse! everytime a cart went by you see this one piece of wood flailing lol

i think i went on the predator last summer. i cant remember cause i think theres more than one wooden coaster at darien lake and i dont remember if i went on any at canadas wonderland. but im pretty sure it was the predator. i know there were a lot of pretty scary drops. i would cringe at every drop lol. and it hurt like hell. i felt like i had head trauma by the end lol

I never thought I'd ride this ride in my whole life but I've ridden it twice. As much as I love roller coasters, this one is insane. It's been open 10 years now! You're practically being lifted up out of your seat this whole ride. I know it's something to do with force or gravity.

That ride is seriously rough! The third hill (shorter one of the first three) is the worst! You're going so fast that at the top of the short hill, you feel like you're about to fly straight up out of your seat and launched into the lake! LOL!

it's really fun! don't go on the side with the stairs if you're afraid of heights. tthe other side seems alot safer.
