This song was used as ending theme of Japanese Anime 'Seto no Hanayome (A bride of Seto)'. The lyrics are closely related to this Comedy. The point of the story is that a junior high school student, who came to Seto-uchi region in Japan, was going to drown in the sea and was relieved by a girl of mermaid-tribe. The incident results in the marriage of the boy and the girl. This song expresses the feelings of the mermaid girl (San) when she decided her marriage with a human boy.

Seto-uchi region is the area expanding between opposite coasts of Honshu-island and Shikoku-island (two of the four main islands of Japan) containing many other tiny islands. This region's climate somewhat resembles that of Mediterranean region of South Europe. On that occasion, the sky and the sea are tinged with red or orange-color.
