It portrays the citizens with almost a nazi-esque sense of self-fulfillment and community, describing the rainbow factory's inner sanctum as an unholy place where the workers not only live there to withhold its' secrets, its' doors are constantly locked to keep anyone and everyone out.

As it turns out, in the story, something happens that causes scootaloo and orion to both be "exiled", causing them to discover the secret behind the rainbow factory and where "spectra" comes from. It also showcases scootaloos' run-in with a certain pony shawled in a dark robe wearing a mask, and has red eyes (CLUE)
