  • que bonito!!

  • it's orrible

  • I had this flick on laser disc back in the 80's and watched it so many times. You really need to see all of the installments from ALLEGRO NON TROPPO. This is just one of the selections.

  • This really is a good translation of the sound into picture. The colourful world of the dream really fits to the impressions given by the prelude. If Debussy himself lived today, i think he would do it very similar to you.

The only thing i miss is the part of the Faun falling into the dream and waking up at the beginning and in the end. Showing the dream only one could think that you interprete the prelude different from the way Debussy intended (at least as school books tell)

  • @Gordos404 The person who posted this isn't the animator who made this video... this is from a famous art film of animated shorts that was made in the 1980's.

  • A story about a Horny Faun and some Nymphos, yes we like this.....

  • hmmmm if Freud was a faun.............

  • This is AWESOME! It reminds me of the cartoon movie 'Heavy Metal' and the parody south park did called 'Major Boobage'

  • Allegro Non Troppo

  • this piece well reminds me of my ex-girlfriend. she was a blonde. a big blondie

  • poverino...:(

  • This isn't even what this song is about... the real story is much more naughty. Its about a FAUN not satyr that wakes up in the morning hungover from the night before. He remembers a wonderful sex filled evening, and cannot remember if he dreamed it, or if the woman was willing or he raped her...

  • Yup, it's true! :-)

  • Love it!

  • someone can explain me?

  • Poor little satyr just wants some nymph muffin!

  • I bet the Faun's name is Zigmund ;)

  • It's so trippy...I LOVE it!

  • Masterful

  • I'm wondering why this version is a half-step higher?

  • probably was sped up so that it's not toooo short?

  • By the way, the poem by Mallarmé is more or less the plot of this cartoon.

  • the animation reminds me of a cross between Yellow Submarine and The Lion Withc and the Wardrobe... Love the music as well...

  • :S :S :S

  • La storia di un dIo pan invecchiato

Questo film è un capolavoro di animazione italiana. Anche l'episodio del Bolero è eccezionale Un applauso a Bruno Bozzetto

  • Mais c'est fantastique vraiment monsieur. Mercis d'avoir partager.

  • Very, very good. Bravado!

  • What the? Somehow this vid ended up in my favorites. I've never seen it before in my life but it was the most recent in my favorites. I opened it and I'm like What the Heck???
