@Cloymax Not specifically. The MC being someone faceless is something commonly used in games in order to have the player feel more or less like it's them. Besides, Bioware games have just been going down in terms of quality lately. Though, I'll admit being able to make your own Persona MC would be bitchin'.

@Cloymax That's actually a little funny because I can't really get into the MC being yourself thing in FPS games. In regular First Person RPGs, I can. But not FPS.

@Parkinstark Well, that depends on the person I guess. It's really easy to feel when the character is silent (Gordon Freeman, Master Chief etc.), but when I have choices, I can't feel the character as me, especially when I see through a camera and not the MCs eyes.

Fallout worked well for me in that way though, there's so many ways to do things.

@Cloymax Perhaps. But with games like Halo, you don't really have a choice in ANYTHING you do. I guess it's easier to insert yourself in games like Persona 4 because you can choose to use your name instead of a generalized protagonist.

Fallout works well with that because that's pretty much what it was made to do. The same thing with the Elder Scrolls games. (Fuck yeah, Skyrim's coming out soon.)
