Perhaps, who knows. Lots of teams out there all trying to do the same thing. IT really depends on how healthy they are at the end of the season during the playoffs next year, and the year after and the year after that. If they had stayed healthy this year they would have destroyed the Colts. The colts wouldn't have even had a chance.

If so, even if the colts do win, I highly doubt they will win by that much. Anything can happen, but that just sounds unrealistic, considering how close the game was before the colts gave up and rested their starters. Sure the colts might win, who knows, but 34-7 is just a spiteful set of numbers.

I'm not all that upset, it was a great run. Why would anyone be upset about taking a rookie QB with a rookie coach to the AFC chanpionship game? I'm not one of those "the Superbowl is the only thing that counts" . We had injuries, and we went against PManning, I mean jeez. Not like it was Dan Marino, or some other scrub, this was a real QB, probably the best in the game right now, if not second only to Namath of all time.
I'm proud of the Jets, and next year they are going to be much better.

Except 3 more games, that were fun, 3 parties, 3 weeks of football talk and excitement. I'm not down at all. It was a great season, and best of all the dolphins weren't in the playoffs at all. The Patriots lost before we did. I mean, it was one of the best seasons we've had since 1998, and the future is going to be even better, Rex Ryan is the best coach we've ever had, parcells is over rated. And the JETS are the second best team in the AFC! Awesome for a team of rookies.

i just love how jets fans and a lot of the media anoint mark "sanchise" as the next coming of joe namath, meanwhile the jets are winning games (albeit with some late season help from the colts and bengals) despite their turnover machine they call a quarterback. in 15 games started by mark "dirty" sanchez he threw for 2,444 yards 12 td's and an impressive 20 interceptions. in only 13 starts chad henne threw for over 400 yards more, the same amount of td's and 6 less interceptions. the jets are winning with arguably the best defense in the league, and a very good rushing attack. when the phins add a real WR and get help at safety and LB, the AFC east is going through miami for years to come.

No, the phins are going to be losers, because the it's the Jets era now. We have the absolute best defense and will again next year, and our offense is only going to get better from this point on. The Phins, well, they probably are going to get a little better, but are going to hit a wall. They got lucky a lot this year. They aren't that good. Their quarterback is sub-par, and this is probably the best he is going to get. The phins are going to need to get real players for next year.

Personally I've been a Jets fan since 1979 and haven't missed a single game since 1979.
My favorite game was the great Monday Night comeback. Then I loved the constant Jets victories over the phins that only recently ended when the jets were rebuilding, in the last couple of years.
The Monday night miricle was awesome, watching JT waving goodbye to all the J Fans, and then watching them all come back. Awesome.

that's exactly what im talking about, he didn't TAKE his team to the playoffs his rookie year, his team took his ass to the playoffs. and i like how you simply proclaim that sanchez will get better, and dismiss henne as a "sub-par"quarterback who is "probably the best he is going to get". if you watch the games and look at the numbers henne is a far more efficent, less-prone to turnovers, and is all around a better QB than mark sanchez.
i completely agree...it looks to me although sanchez had a couple good moments (predominantly in the beginning of the season), henne has alot more potential...henne is more consistent and is much more football smart (he learned from one of the smartest qbs to play the game in pennington)...bongwyre looks to be a casual fan who climbed back on the jets bangwagon after he found out the jets somehow slipped into the playoffs

The Miami Dolphins are a great football team. The wildcat can not be stopped. The defense doesn't know if Brown will run or throw and he could still hand it off to Ricky Williams. The Dolphins are the only team that can consistently gain yards with the wildcat.
I feel like sooner or later Pat White might start getting more reps. Whether they do that against the Pats...idk but don't forget how much the wildcat has evolved. These things take time.

I'm not all that upset, it was a great run. Why would anyone be upset about taking a rookie QB with a rookie coach to the AFC chanpionship game? I'm not one of those "the Superbowl is the only thing that counts" . We had injuries, and we went against PManning, I mean jeez. Not like it was Dan Marino, or some other scrub, this was a real QB, probably the best in the game right now, if not second only to Namath of all time.
I'm proud of the Jets, and next year they are going to be much better.

Except 3 more games, that were fun, 3 parties, 3 weeks of football talk and excitement. I'm not down at all. It was a great season, and best of all the dolphins weren't in the playoffs at all. The Patriots lost before we did. I mean, it was one of the best seasons we've had since 1998, and the future is going to be even better, Rex Ryan is the best coach we've ever had, parcells is over rated. Dolphins aren't a real team, they are a bunch of losers. The Jets let the dolphins win, they lost the game the dolphins didn't really win the game.
The Jets fucked up, it was humiliating to lose to a team like the dolphins. The Dolphins got completely lucky in the second game and used gimmick plays the first game. If the Dolphins want to play collage ball they should be a collage team. They are looooo-sars.

That's the True END-OF-STORY.
If the Jets lose and are out of superbowl contention, at least they went to the play offs and the Dolphins didn't. That's what is really important. Watching the Phins suffer. Watching Jason "the dick" Taylor not go to the play offs, the Phins not go to the playoffs and the Jets going to the playoffs. For me that is a thousand times more enjoyable than a Jets superbowl. Those fuckheads.

wow, did u even watch the game on sunday?...u stupid jets fans always complain about the wildcat but on sunday night ALL of your big plays came out of the wildcat with brad smith...at least when the dolphins lose, they never complain...thats why bart scott, braylon, and rex ryan are pathetic...jason taylor is a class act, he had an oppurtunity to play for the jets but said he couldnt do it because of the stupid fans...once again the phins beat the jets twice, so ur argument doesnt really matter

You don't know what you're talking about. The Jets never relied completely on the wildcat, they used it a few times, and it was one of their good plays, maybe two. They did a lot of other things.
Jason Taylor couldn't be a Jets, the fans would throw batteries at him. He is scum. We don't want him. The day he is a Jet is the day I'm a Giant's fan. If JT is a class act, then the bar has been lowered really low for what is a class act.

"all the yards that were thrown"??...hahaha, u obviously didnt watch the game...sanchez threw for 63 yards!!!...but he didnt throw an interception so it was probably the best game of his career...thomas jones longest run was 9 yards!!! brad smith (he runs your wildcat if u dont know who he is) rushed 4 times for 92 yards, thats where most of your big plays came from...what does defensive stops have to do with big plays on offense?...im gonna ask u again, did u even watch the game?

i just love how jets fans and a lot of the media anoint mark "sanchise" as the next coming of joe namath, meanwhile the jets are winning games (albeit with some late season help from the colts and bengals) despite their turnover machine they call a quarterback. The dolphins are going to run this division over the next decade, they are young in the secondary which partially explains their trouble their this season, and chad henne is going to be a stud.

in 15 games started by mark "dirty" sanchez he threw for 2,444 yards 12 td's and an impressive 20 interceptions. in only 13 starts chad henne threw for over 400 yards more, the same amount of td's and 6 less interceptions. the jets are winning with arguably the best defense in the league, and a very good rushing attack. when the phins add a real WR and get help at safety and LB, the AFC east is going through miami for years to come.

No, the phins are going to be losers, because the it's the Jets era now. We have the absolute best defense and will again next year, and our offense is only going to get better from this point on. The Phins, well, they probably are going to get a little better, but are going to hit a wall. They got lucky a lot this year. They aren't that good. Their quarterback is sub-par, and this is probably the best he is going to get. The phins are going to need to get real players for next year.

im kind of happy the dolphins didnt make the playoffs, the team isnt there yet so it was gonna be tough to do anything in the playoffs and now they get a better draft pick so im over the loss...i dont know if u noticed but your last argument looked alot like your first argument (looks like youre runnin out of things to say)...and as far as a rookie taking his team to the playoffs, its been done before, actually twice last year (flacco got to the AFCC) so dont act like sanchez is anything special

lol it is not the jets era...when the phins just add a couple of playmakers (especially WR and a safety) the AFC east will be the phins division rather easily...i admit the jets have a good D, revis is a stud but u r obviously misinformed on offense, how is it going to get better unless they add players? u say the phins got lucky alot this year? r u kidding me? dont justify the whole season on the second game against the jets...yes the dolphins got lucky with two kickoff returns and a fumble return but thats where their luck ended this year...injuries, all of these are starters...chad pennington, RONNIE BROWN, will allen, jason fegurson all out for the year...they had the toughest schedule in the NFL and blew many 4th quarter leads...there r so many holes in all of ur arguments, u dont kno shit

Personally I've been a Jets fan since 1979 and haven't missed a single game since 1979.
My favorite game was the great Monday Night comeback. Then I loved the constant Jets victories over the phins that only recently ended when the jets were rebuilding, in the last couple of years.
The Monday night miricle was awesome, watching JT waving goodbye to all the J Fans, and then watching them all come back. Awesome.

bongwyre, i can tell that u r a bandwagon fan, youre info is very limited and youre only purpose is to rip on the phins with little evidence to support youre reasoning...ur right, the jets r in the playoffs and the phins arent and i even think the jets could beat the bengals this sunday but u will go no further than that...so enjoy ur wildcard spot with a 9-7 record...but next year will come, and the phins will be much better than the jets, u can count on that and that definitely does matter

And bare in my mind that when i wrote my "Chad Henne is going to be a stud" comment he had just ended the season by throwing for 300 yards in 3 of the last 5 games, so it's not like I was basing it on nothing. Now, to your terrible grammar. Just combine your first two sentences. The way you wrote them makes very unclear what "it" is. "non-knowledgeable?" I guess you were going for "unknowledgeable" but I personally would've gone with ill-informed or maybe just dumb.

that's exactly what im talking about, he didn't TAKE his team to the playoffs his rookie year, his team took his ass to the playoffs. and i like how you simply proclaim that sanchez will get better, and dismiss henne as a "sub-par"quarterback who is "probably the best he is going to get". if you watch the games and look at the numbers henne is a far more efficent, less-prone to turnovers, and is all around a better QB than mark sanchez.

i completely agree...it looks to me although sanchez had a couple good moments (predominantly in the beginning of the season), henne has alot more potential...henne is more consistent and is much more football smart (he learned from one of the smartest qbs to play the game in pennington)...bongwyre looks to be a casual fan who climbed back on the jets bangwagon after he found out the jets somehow slipped into the playoffs

The Miami Dolphins are a great football team. The wildcat can not be stopped. The defense doesn't know if Brown will run or throw and he could still hand it off to Ricky Williams. The Dolphins are the only team that can consistently gain yards with the wildcat.
