  • amen

  • They are back.

  • glad to know they didnt breakup lol

  • what is that one song where the singer holds the long ass note

  • @xXAOVxWarriorXx it's the intro to 'one girl army' in their first live album 'proof that the youth are revolting'

  • my friends went to lisbon portugal for a mission trip and they played this song in there car and here rocking out to it lol =D

  • They didn't break up. They quit. Any true FIF fan would know that ;)

  • @BigTallOrangeThing they didnt quit or break up....they died....any true fif fan would know that. :)

  • @sethmusic Hahahaha yeah, I take it you're referring to the analogy they made to euthanizing a puppy. I was referring to the time they explicitly stated that they were "quitting, not breaking up" followed by the announcement of the Winners Never Quit Tour.

But either way, we can agree on two things: they didn't break up, and they had a very unique sense of humor about it :D

  • @BigTallOrangeThing you win this time, Gadget! :)

  • This was the last song they ever performed and one of their best. A very fitting end!

  • am i the only 1 who isnt christian and likes the song just because ?

  • @lucasbudega nope

  • @lucasbudega no way

  • @lucasbudega You are not alone

  • God bless all you who are downing this obviously blessed music by the Father. I needed this 10 years later,. God bless these guys and their family and anyone who reads this.

  • one of the best songs ever written. Period.

  • Living, breathing, walking proof that God is an artist. Perfectly capable of creating a masterpiece....

  • im a christian.. but i dont care about who/what the music is about, i care about if the band has any talent or not.. music is music! but honestly speaking here, a lot of the christian alternative music sucks.. i love ska, but five iron frenzy is the only christian ska band ive found that i actually like!

  • Comment removed

  • @unitard08 I do not know what music you like, but I can tell you that there are A LOT of GOOD Christian Bands out there (or Christian individuals who are in a band that makes clean music) REALLY GOOD: Attack Attack! 1st cd b4 lineup/message changes Emery The Devil Wears Prada POD Relient K Blindside We Came as Romans Pretty Good: Pillar Project 86 Spoken Oh, Sleeper Demon Hunter Dead Poetic Anberlin The Cross Movement Switchfoot Lifehouse 12 Stones nomorespace
  • @MikeBerman a lot of those bands are good.. i listen to all different kinds of music (christian and non-christian)

im just saying a lot of it sucks.. i support the cause of playing for Jesus, but its just their sound i dont like. im not picky on music genre's, but i am picky on bands.. they have to have good sound, talent, and good lyrics.. im just saying that five iron frenzy is the only "christian" ska band ive heard that i actually like.. but thats cus ska is a dead genra (sadly)

  • Respond to this video... but ive heard plenty of other bands with christian sungenres that i like, eg: metal.. lots of good christian metal bands, but thats cus its a wider, more popular genre. make since?

  • goosebumps!

  • So glad I got to see them live during their last tour. This was the last song they played and it blew my mind. I was crying like a baby at the end.

  • wow!!!, god is great, he placed the lyrics of this song on the tablets of these guys hearts, HAD TOO!! we love you father, always and forever, oh, and by the way, good job FIF!!!!!

  • Religion is Men and Women trying to work their way to heaven. Being a christian and letting God do all the work so you can please him.

  • not really, but whatever helps you sleep at night.

  • I'm not even religious and i can't get enough of this song! It's soooo good!

  • @joedafrog Listen to the words...maybe you should be. It's not about being religious, it's about a God who loves you and can make every new day seem newer than the last.

    Just think about it. :)

  • the was that FIF can make this seem like a completely different song by adding a few other words and some different notes is fantastic. i love this version more than the original CD version.

whyyyyyy, why did they have to stop?! D:

  • Best FIF song ever.

  • This was the band's favorite song. Too bad some wanted to be more into music and some wanted a normal life - I can respect it, but it hurts. They'll always be my favorite band. Micah said they won't even think about a reunion until 2013...almost there...

  • 1. copy and paste

    2. send this to 2 other videos.

    3. hold your breath for 10 seconds

    4. press refresh twice

    3. LOOK AT YOUR HANDS

  • i LOVE this song.

so sad they stopped playing. D:

  • my old youth pastor introduced me to these guys he says they are they best live band. and now my favorite !!

  • @xxsamplextextxx my old youth pastor introduced me to them too and i too love them!!! :D

  • Just one more studio album. That's all I ask

  • GRRR!!! I LOST

  • this is pretty much the best song ever

  • Praise God, man, praise God.

  • Gog bless you man!!!cant wait to meet them in heaven!

  • amazing

  • the best ska band ever

  • @Badfish5447 maybe it's the worst band YOU'VE ever heard... but it's the best band I'VE ever heard. Perhaps you are deaf... I will pray for you, good sir, or ma'am. I hope to see you in heaven, the heaven that FIF fervently sings about.

  • I love all the secret tracks. xD one time, I left one of the CD's on while cleaning and just as I finished and I was laying on my bed this giant fiesta explodes from my stereo. it scared me senseless.

  • I love it when that happens. I can't remember which album it's on now, but there's like, a 5 minute long bit of silence after the last track, followed by someone shouting "Someone's in your house!"

Never listen to that while trying to sleep.

    God Bless

  • @badboxey yikes! thanks for the warning. :)

  • @badboxey i think it is Our Newest Album Ever, but i could be wrong

  • First of all this song is epic; secondly for anyone who is playing

  • @XIIIthhero ah darn you

  • @XIIIthhero FFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKK

  • @XIIIthhero I HATE YOU

  • @XIIIthhero SONOFABITCH AHAHAH

  • @XIIIthhero WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  • Yay FIF!! I agree awsome is their skill to please my ears.

  • exactly.

  • most assuredly

  • Well, we're called to judge evil, and combat it when necessary. However, the more I grow, the more I see that the way to "combat" evil I see in others is through limitless kindness and gentleness - genuine care (LOVE) for them - the kind only God can give you, you know?

  • how bout we just stop arguing and listen to the music? how's that sound?

  • Or maybe as a Christian "Argwolffe," You shouldn't be so quick to judge. -insert cast the first stone reference here-

  • I think there is a difference in context. The people in that case were going to kill the lady. Argwolffe is saying something that is encouraging, but perhaps they should have said it in a more gentle way. Instead of using "funny how you talk" just say directly, "I think you shouldn't use Damn when talking about Jesus." We are not to judge non-christians, but we are allowed to judge Christians. We shouldn't look down on them, but instead should be edifying them.

  • why did they break up? they were so damn good..i keep listening to this song for hours and never get tired...i just love it..jesus rulz!

  • @paradigmarulz funny how you talk of jesus using the word "Damn" if you are a christian be an example. Keeping a clean lexicon, to start with.

They broke up because they all got married etc a happy ending.

  • best ska band ever

  • i saw them in their final tour :'( i miss them. i know all of their songs by heart. yay FIF!!

  • jalepa, i think The End Is Near was their next-to-last album, 'professeeing' the band's break up, witht the The End Is Here album

  • Live cuts of this song have more emotion in them, but I think there's more raw power in the studio version, my $0.02. This is still a phenomenal song and my favorite FIF track followed very closely by Dandelions. One of my favorite hoodies is still an old "5 Fe" one I picked up when I saw them as part of the Ska Against Racism tour at Montclair State. It POURED that day but we didn't care at all, so many good bands on stage. I'll always miss these guys

  • ...lucky!! i never got to see them live ;( i found out about them the year they "quit" :(

  • Yeah I saw them twice - there and once at a camp up in Red Hook, NY in the middle of NOWHERE. Wish I could have ever made it to see them at Cornerstone, though!

  • I love this band there great !!!!

  • Why on earth did they stop? I would pay good money to see them live.

  • According to their last album end was near. Maybe they feared 2012.

  • lol

  • @taatje89 Because it was never about the money.

  • @taatje89 They just felt it was time to quit. It makes me respect them even more that they decided to stop when they didn't feel it anymore. If that's even possible. But luckily I can always take solice in the fact that I was in the crowd during this recording. And though I can't remember if I succeeded, I do know that I was fighting back tears during the last minute or so of this song.

  • @taatje89 Yeah they weren't really in it for the money, they were really in it for the ministry, they would take tours where they just played at clubs. Even though these didn't pay as much as church gigs, they reached more people, which is why they took them.

  • @taatje89 Band issues i think it was

  • @taatje89 Maybe that's exactly why.

  • @taatje89 They were starting families and it got harder and harder to tour because of that.

  • @taatje89 They had to many conflicting ideas and couldnt agree on a direction but fuck it i still listen religiously to them no pun intended haha

  • On the album, the "hidden track" is Reece Roper coming back to the mic and talking. And the Encore is him singing "Silent Night" with the crowd. After every Five Iron Frenzy concert, they sing a song they didn't write, usually hymns. It's a very God fearing thing to do.

  • Yeah thats what i love about reese, I love you lord is my fav he sings......on one rare live album the crowd wants an encore and he comes out and sings i love you lord God bless FIF

  • hey, on wich album is this live version? greez and thanks,

    leadscreamer

  • End is here disc 2 also the youth ar revolting is an older live version. And i f you can find them winter wonderland and purple door have versions of this live as well. However End is here is available on Itunes so that's easier. You should really hear the entire album it was a great show.

  • thanks a lot...

I like this version, becaus of the "screaming"

  • Me to, i really adds some emotion.

  • It`s on their last album "The Ende is near/here". It`s their best record in my opinion.

  • i bought the album for 8 Eur; used...great thing!

  • The end is here

  • the end came

  • Jesus loves you more than you know.

  • how long is this song, becasue my versions is like, 8 mins... the whole track is 23 minutes, but i think its a hidden track or sumthin

  • the whole song is like four of five minutes, and there is a hidden track at the end called Godzilla

  • the we fight on here the more you take away from this song it dosent matter what religion you are or not this is an amazing song its for any one who lost sight of your life and needs help just be thankfull something like this was made and enjoy it

  • Christans, theres no need to mark a comment spam because you can't conjure up a resonable responce to fact.

  • This is my prayer. Prayers normally aren't theologically exact. And that's why it's my prayer. It says everything I want to. Wait, did I mention, this is my prayer? I am serious.

  • This has been my prayer in junior high and high school. Now I'm gettin back to my roots. I have listened to this exact video "too many" times, in other words, I still have a long way to go. I will listen to it again and again, it is so hard to listen to once ... it must be at least 5 times... or until my voice hurts.

  • this song makes me want to cry every time i hear it, all the sin that im stuck in and yet god still loves unconditionally, i would challenge anyone to listen to this song and not feel a tug on their heart strings

  • True, very true.

  • It's not a religion it's a relationship. Cside!

  • No, it is a religion AND a relationship. God is the subject of both.

  • i would disagree, the bible states that god resents religion, not in those words exactly, but umiiq is correct, it is not religion, it is a peronal relationship with god

  • Comment removed

  • My mistake, "God resents man-imposed religion. Religion that is pure and faultless in God's eyes is helping widows and orphans in their distress, and keeping oneself from being corrupted by the world system. And that is straight Word people. Look it up... James 1:27 Peace." Says garywrd, and I agree. It's not ONLY a religion, but in this pure religion there is a relstionship between you and God that without the rest would be almost meaningless.

  • its relationship, so true. And we don't deserve it.

  • i'd say it's both God is beyond our understanding therefore we must worship him and understand he is completely our ruler and have both a relationship and a religion centered around him

  • Haha.

    Fail.

  • while i would not disagree with that statement, you must be wary of how you portray and use these good works, the bible states that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, meaning that good works alone will not get you into heaven, all that is needed is acceptance that jesus died for your sins, and that he is indeed the son of god

  • You obviously believe the bible, since you just mentioned romans 10:9,10. show me scripture that says that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. I said nothing about salvation being based on this scripture, but it is God's will for us to do good works. (ephesians 2:10;romans 12:1-21; james 2:14-26)

  • more than that its a covenant

  • yeah i know its kinda sad though they were awesome.

  • One thing I love about FIF is that you can really see what was going through their minds before they broke up. You can hear it in their songs.

  • most ska bands are christian? thats such an ignorant statement. you know of a few ska bands that happen to be christian so you say that? you could listen to norma jean, underoath and august burns red and then say that most hardcore music is christian. christianity is a religion and some people are passionate about religion and when musicians are passionate about something then they tend to use that in their song writing

  • thats not what i was saying. i was saying that most of the ones "I" know of are. i dont know mmany ska bands so therefore it is accurate to say that cause of my limited knowledge in that area.

  • i might be mistaken but it seems that most ska bands are christian (not all i know of a few that are not)

  • huge ska fan here and there are very few good ska bands and honestly can't think of a single 1st or 2nd wave christian ska band. there were a handful of really good 3rd wave christian ska bands like FiF but just the list of non-christian ska bands (just like bands in general) is much larger. a few of my favorite:reel big fish, mighty mighty boss tones, catch 22, big d and the kids table.

  • edit: there are very few good "christian" ska bands

  • it s all good i dont know that many ska bands anyways wasnt big into them but what ive heard from the ones i have i have liked. ive heard of RBF and MMBT but not the others. sorry im more of a rocker/metal head but FiF makes me laugh and they have a good message so i like them. and OC supertones back in the day (btw they were awsome live and played with Reliant K)

  • hehe :) i got hooked on ska when i was in jr high and have loved it ever since! yeah supertones are part of that few i was mentioning. have each of their albums as well and they have a more "traditional" ska sound. i too love FiF for just making me laugh :)

  • HALLELUJAH!

  • I loveee thisss!

    Best christian ska band everrr.

    <3

    God Bless.

  • This song almost always makes me cry..

  • This is my favorite song that they do

  • 2:30 -3:00 makes me cry and happy at the same time.. =' ) so passionate.. i love it

  • I have this live album, and the last two songs that they play are World Without an End, and Every New Day. Its absolutely beautiful.

  • Excellent quality sound for one of the most brutally awesome ska song ever.

  • Five iron Frenzy's best work. I love this band because they are true Christians. They are sold out to Christ totally. Its so cool because i can call FIF a ministry.

  • I'm athiest and I love this song, it almost brings me to tears just the passion and I love how the crowd chant Thank You then go on to sing Amazing Grace. Beautiful

  • yes that thank you thing is one of the greatest things i've ever heard

  • That's how God's love works. You could be the dirtiest, filthiest, disease-riddled bum in the world, but if you have commited to Jesus, all God sees is a stainless white. What more can I say?

  • .....You are NEVER alone! This song is one of my bests..

  • i love this song, the best of FIF.

    kiss

    Brazilian 4 Christ!

  • PS: *Brazil 4 Christ!

  • probaly the coolest christian band

  • i love this song but like on distant shores better because it has some of this song at the end and the first part is still awsome

  • Esta rola esta super perra... gracias 5if la neta. This is the greatests song of 5if.

    I just love it...

  • best FIF song ever. I miss them so much.

  • please FIF come back and do SKA for us again ! :(

  • paradigmarulz has it right!!!

  • still ure listening 2 this song:) they wrote this"Great Song" for GOD...its all about faith.JESUS exists and yeah one day ull understand.even if u dont believe...

  • you don't need to believe in jesus to like this song.

  • chaos exists

  • Nothing doesn't exist. :-)

  • lol well put ;-)

  • What does that mean? Zeus most definitely does not exist. I'm probably misunderstanding your comment though, please explain.

  • WOW! That is one of the most profound statements I have ever swallowed. Nice ! Nice ! Good on ya mate

  • Then there can be no such thing as "death"

  • This band single-handedly restored my faith in religion's ability to be good. The passion which they put into their songs exceeds any I've heard in any other Christian band. The way he sings the "Hallelujah" at the end seems like the band's purpose was to sing that final stanza and all of the time before that phrase was buildup. Truly an emotional experience, regardless of creed.
