  • @pinksmithfloyd sorry but for me its Overkill Anthrax Megadeth Slayer <<<<yep, see? no metallica :)

  • Spreading The Disease baby.

  • This video perfectly discribes why I love Anthrax so much.

  • SO excited for the big four coming up in indio california!!! Got my ticket in the mail the other day

  • @frindle8 nice one man :D

  • @kendostick58 its some american civil war theme i think

  • This is how Gung-Ho was meant to be played! Fuck YEA!!!

  • The best live performance by Anthrax :)

  • omfg that mosh Ian does in the beginning is so EPIC!! long live anthrax, wish i was there (ps joey, do never leave anthrax again!)

  • @kendostick58 its the part of Gung-Ho on the album version of the song, its like a solo or a guitar riff in the song

  • @digitalvirus335

Yeah, Scott writes most of the their music and he is also the main reason to see Anthrax live. Why, one might ask? Just because he goes totally insane on the stage, it's like one-man moshpit. Entertaining as fuck. I want Scott to be my dad.

  • @Glstonehill i think the bassist goes crazy even more than scott thought...

  • @kendostick58 It's the solo for the song, just played at the start here rather than nearer the end in the studio version. I don't think it's from anything else.

  • the drums in this song are amazing. Anthrax is so underrated

  • fuck yeah joey beladonna

  • 8==D

  • One of the coolest intros ever no dout this line-up is the best wish they would do another tour again

  • drums fukin amazing

  • Best Anthrax Line up by far, the other lineups sound like there playing the songs, and all the right parts, but not together. If you know what I mean.

  • jaja (Y)

  • YEAH BEST

  • does anybody known the name of first solo in the song?

  • Well, it's just the solo for the song, though in the original studio recording it comes near the end of the song.

  • yes,i know that, but i think it is anthem for something.

    thanx anyway.

  • Do you mean the "Here we go, here we go, here we go" bit at the start? That is an old football chant

  • i think he means the solo 1:10 , it also some sort of an anthem i think, i reckonise it but don't know the name

  • Awesome :))

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH anthrax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hey i though dan spitz soloed on panic? (badass song by the way)

  • haha, scott ian is so funny at 0:35

  • Yeah that's pretty good

  • I'd say providing rhythms is still a pretty important part of the music... or do you mean does he write any of it?

  • as far as i can remember i watched this clip on sky channels monsters of rock begin 80`s......used to bang my head off those days..still do..bit slower but hey...;-)

  • itd be so fun to be at that show!

  • haha yeah totally!

  • BEST THRASH METAL sONG EVER!

  • the drumm is so good in this song

  • Oidivnikufesin is fucking great, and also hard to find today, it was released in 1987 in VHS and it has not been re-released in DVD, they should, this show was fucking great.

  • they're just having a great time out there, that's why i love Anthrax. put out great music and were all about fun!!

  • yea they dont try to act all badass

  • best intro

  • I love Dan Spitz's guitar and the intro they did for the song. Awesome!

  • THIS IS SO FUCKING AWESOME! Just sad he aint screaming between the Gung Ho's and before :(

  • Anthrax arent poser sell outs like metallica if there was a contest called Anthrax VS. matallica anthrax would win but it wouldnt be fair because metallica is hard rock and anthrax is THRASH METAL

  • Fucking amazing song, band and performance. LMAO at Scotts dance at the start! Frank is such an amazing bass player!

  • Yes, Scotts dance in the beginning is funny.

    LOL!!! These guys are great.

  • best vid on youtube in every rite way

  • PS The best version of Whisky In The Jar is The Dubliners version!

  • anthrax is way better than metallica

  • I agree :) I like Megadeth best though, out of the big 4, then Anthrax, then Slayer.

  • megadeth n anthrax 1-2 ppl say slayer is the last o the big 4 but i always thought that helloween was better cuz isnt power influenced by thrash if u say yes:

    1. Megadeth

    2. Anthrax

    3. Metallica

    4. Helloween

    5. Slayer

As an overall I think Metallica is the best becuz they can be thrashy, do a ballad, classic heavy metal, n even do a thin lizzy or misfits cover- but from straight in your face thrash Megadeth-Anthrax 1-2 PUNCH!

  • Some good points dude. That's just the widely-acknowledged "Big 4", I didn't make that up.

I see where you're coming from, but Megadeth have some good ballad-y songs too. If you're looking at covers, Megadeth do Paranoid and Anarchy In The UK pretty well IMO. Slayer released Undisputed Attitude, which as far as I know is all punk covers. And then Anthrax's version of London is quite good, but they get +50 on the very basis that they're covering the Smiths!

  • ya but helloween is better than slayer i know the big 4 but power came out of thrash

  • @pinksmithfloyd sorry for me its metallica slayer anthrax then megadeth.

  • @spikedavid64 Fair enough :)

  • hahahahahahahhahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    hahahaha

    ha...

    eeehh, yes, sure.

  • mm, I dont know why my answer was not linked, I was talkin about "antraz, pantrax, or whatever, is way better than metallica" (LukeTEvans dixit)...hehehe. I cant stop laughing when I hear that. Yesyesyesyes.

  • Back when Anthrax didn't suck. John Bush is such an awfull vocalist. He ruined Anthrax in my opinion.

  • bush didnt ruin anthrax he just came in and did his job its charlie and scotts fault for choosing him they shouldve known his singing style wasnt fit for anthraxs punky style

  • NOT!NOT!NOT!NOT!NOT!

  • I see a lot of questions on this track. This was the ened of their show at the Hammershith Odeon somewhere in England back in'87. This was the last 10 mins of their concert home video OidivNikuFesin (NiseFukinVideo). The rest of the video is just as solid (and most of it is on YouTube in segments). Charlie's got chops out his ass (look for him and Eric Carr backstage.)

  • "Hammershith Odeon somewhere in England"

    London, obviously.

But thanks for the rest of the info :D

  • they are like animals on stage... i love it!

  • Alright. Next question: why is there a gabba hey in the tags? :D

  • Just because the NOT part is similar to the Ramones live performances of Pinhead with their big sign. And the Smiths too now that you mention it...

  • And what's this "Maybe Not" part all about? I just don't get it :(

  • ¯\(°_o)/¯

As I've said, I like Anthrax but they're not one of my favourite bands and I don't know much about them. This is just a great song though

  • "Not" Is like their thing , its like ED to iron maiden, i write not all over my shit. Hardcore anthrax fans

  • jaja pope?? jajaja

  • LOL pope at the end LMAO

  • hahahaha NOT!

  • did anyoen notice that at the begining of the second and third verse charlie didn't do the double bass like he had on the album? :)

  • Is Scott Ian the dude with the red telecaster?

  • I don't know that much about the band, sorry. I like them, but they're not one of my favourite bands.

  • yeah

  • I'm watching the beginning over and over again. Awesome :D

  • Its from Oidivnikufesin. I own the VHS. Its not on dvd sadly. Great fucking show though.

  • i saw it on dvd at a buddy's house on dvd though and it was a legit copy

  • This is one dvd?

  • This one song for the whole disc you mean? I doubt it, but I have no idea really.

  • Sorry I do not speak English I am Brazilian, my question was whether that gung ho music video of the album spreading the disease, was a dvd?

  • oh sorry

    I really don't know

I downloaded this from google video and posted it here since it hadn't been posted before

I don't know where it's from, and I don't know who the retard at the end is.

    sorry

  • It's the hammersmith live

  • its from Oidivnikufesin (N.F.V) from the among the living tour. A fucking incredible dvd, u gotta buy it. I got mine for £3 howzat for a bargain!!!

  • When is Anthrax gonna tour the States again?

  • When they find a singer. Or, have they?

  • yeah Dan Nelson is the new guy

  • ok i just had to laugh at the begining

  • Scott's little dance is great.

  • Charlie is just a freakn' monster on the double kick.

  • No kidding! The drums on this song are just sick.

  • Charlie is one of the greats... All around!

    Love Belladonna era Anhrax!

  • what that music in the beginning?

  • What music do you mean? It's mixed up a bit, the solo from the studio version is played first

  • the "here we go"

  • It's just an old football chant I believe, started by Oscar Wilde during his term as manager of Celtic FC, in the early 1890s.

  • It's a mint way of getting the crowd pumped, it just fits with the song somehow

  • what that music in the beginning?

  • I need more of this tape. This is awesome.

  • NOT

  • no probs, not even scared m9

  • fuck yeah. i had this video.

then, i dont know, i lost it!

    but thanks for this upload!
