i seen this same sighting...later they caught the man who was supposely flyin a kite with 5 lights attatched...who know if that what it really was or if it was a cover up , but i did see this very sighting. personally i dont think it was a kite. it wasnt windy at all that night and a friend of mine 5 miles away seen the same sighting at the same time...so i donno if u could see a kites lights that far from where we both were lol......

I saw something a lot like this in Maplewood, MN about a month ago and everyone was watching it for some time, but after watching it hover over a denny's for quite a while we went up to the restaurant and could see that there was 2 kites connected to a string(pretty hard to see). I wanted it to be a ufo so baaad. Unfortunately it was a hoax. This video looks a lot like what I saw...probably set up guys..

Very difficult to tell--how close or how far are the objects ? There are no visible trees, power lines, etc. Although it looks like Mars at 4:07 and 4:12, and the objects moved slightly with steadily with winds aloft. I think this is a hoax, 2 items attached to one balloon, steady lights another 2 and 1 "blinking" in the middle, same deal.

a lot of cameras cant pic up stars and the moon may not have been out not saying this is real or fake bu had my own experience on fawn lake in wisconsin 7 miles east of the hole in the wall casino somthing came straigh at me then made a 90 degree turn and vanished and there was not a cloud in the sky lots of stars

The blinking lights on the ends give the illusion that it is moving, but it isn't. This case is open. The proof of a hoax hasn't been found yet. It is only rumor.

I live like literally 1 minute away.. and though I didn't get the pleasure of witnessing this, I have friends who did. This was also on our channel 5 news.

Later police said it was weather balloons with lights attached. When are they going to realize this isn't 1928 and we're not buying that bullshit? I better stop before I end up sleeping with the fishes.

In order to imply this is a fake would mean the tape is a collaborative conspiracy agreed upon between both a local news crew and civilian witnesses in the area. What do they have to gain? To be labeled loony by their peers. Yea, I can definitely see the appeal of making this "fake" ufo video.

I'd say it's authentic. Looks like it was shot by a professional cameraman on a steady tripod with broadcast quality equipment.

@jrolson85 You can scroll down to see my initial comment to your ignorant post but let me address the lack of stars. Video cameras cannot pickup stars very easily because they film in real time. In other words, they record from 1 second to the next. you really need time elapse photography to pick up the stars because they do not emit enough visible light. Just look at shuttle photos- no stars and they have better cameras so pull your head out. What a proud day for you and your family.

@jrolson85 - The video poster just schooled your ass, but also this was above a major city, where most residents do NOT even see stars because of light pollution and other city issues. My family from Tampa came here to Georgia a couple months ago and couldn't believe they could actually see Orion, the Milky Way, etc.. because they were NOT in a city anymore, where the pollution covers up the night sky.

This object was stationary for nearly two hours. That's plenty of time to find out for sure if it was balloons. They never, ever found that out. It's a hasty explanation lacking in critical thinking. Balloons would move with the wind, and that means these were tied down somehow. How hard would it be for the police to locate the damn strings holding this down? More than two hours? Not to mention I witnessed similar lights an hour north of this sighting the same night. Not balloons.

Only up north on the north pole they usually have snow for longer period of time. Maybe 3 months or 3 and a half. But the the rest of the country don´t have. We have snow from the end of December and until the middle of February and that´s it. So everything usually melts until the end of February. And no, unfortunately I don´t have the sighting recorded because it happened to fast and I didnt have my mobile phone with me when it happened. I wish I would though. :(.
