This made the WWE raise their game. This is the reason the Attitude era started and the reason why DX was even invented. For the first time, Vince was scared and copied many of the things the WCW was doing. Hogan was such a brilliant heel. The unknown's from the old WWF kept showing up. Wondering who was going to keep joining the NWO was so intriguing back then. It kept people on the edge of their seats every single monday night. It will never be like this again, impossible.

@JAHamilton77 - You know that's a lie dude. Raw is Live, and as much as they would like them to stop, the 'What!?' chants have continued to this day. Not just in WWE, but in TNA. That chants lasted for almost 10 years now. And it will continue to go on, even if it ruins someone's promo.

@BoliviaMafia Well not really. They beat them in the ratings in the states for 84 wweks but world wide the wwf was still number 1. If you remember though the wwf took wcw out of the game for good in march 2001. Everyone seems to forget that vince kicked turners ass from 1988 to 1995 then again from mid 98 to 2001 but i suppose its not cool to point out facts that work in wwe's favour these days...
