the computers that are like $5,000 are overkill, don't think that because there are computers that are $5,000 that you actually need that, people don't NEED Bugatti Veyrons to go really fast, but hey people are buying them anyways.

those PC's are for people that want to brag, that want to play Far Cry 2, and get like 200 frames per second, which is ridiculous, because the human eye cannot detect any difference past like 30 - 60 fps

which you can easily get with a $1,000 PC

I'm currently using a 4 year old processor, cheap ram, and a really nice video card, that I spent $300 on, I can run Far Cry 2 on Ultra High, and it's very smooth, and looks great, so for my older processor, it would cost $150, and the memory $100, Hard Drive $100 Power Supply $80, motherboard $80, Case $80

$890 ( so less than $1,000)

but you can opt to get a better processor, and memory, for not much more, but it can be done for less, like what I got.

well first of all, a PC can do much more, this is why they cost more, otherwise there simply wouldn't be a market for them, and people would just get a console, that would be the most logical choice, secondly, you can build a computer that will play games such as Far Cry 2 on Ultra High for around $1000, so considering how much more you can do, which is EASILY twice as much, the price being about twice as much, is justified.

It would make more sense (In my mind) to take the money that would have been spent on a console, and put it towards a computer that you paid $700 for, and buy a $300 video card, you could then play games (at a high quality) AND do all the other stuff as well, don't get me wrong, Console has pretty nice graphics, but PC is better, the only reason I would consider console, is for the portability of it.

again for what you get, it's still a great deal at $1000 (which is a realistic price)

sorry, I like PC, I personally think Console is pure shit, and any problem with a games physics can be blamed on the company which produced the game, not PC, PC has got physics down to a tee. and the same with graphics, the graphics on a PC, are for a FACT unrivaled, by any other gaming platform, the numbers simply show it. I really stand in awe at the amazement of how many people really believe in their hearts that console is better, it's really a shame, because they are just wrong.

By the way, my processor is AMD sempron with 1.81GHz and videocard NVidia 6100 game runs fine!(on medium video settings)

i am playing it now. graphics is prety good.sound same as in previous versions. one improvement in controlls is that you can controll player with mouse (movement/ball (not at the same time).it is tricky but fun! Good game!
