  • why did you post manring? wahahahahaha!

  • Ron Jarzombek wants YOU!

To figure out the time signature and tempo changes in Words for Nerds.

  • @TheMetalKid9 Impossibru!

  • spastic ink...

  • no shit, it's a computer

  • Oh Ron Jarzombek, you master! Simply put, a mad scientist on the guitar.

  • I saw Michael Manring play with Don Ross. Fuck that was a great concert. I wish spastic ink could play concerts :(

Just like metal is an umbrella term, Progressive is a vague word to categorize everything that doesn't fit in elsewhere. That's my interpretation of the word, but who needs labels? Just keep loving music :)

  • I saw Michael Manring play with Don Ross. Fuck that was a great concert. I wish spastic ink could play concerts :(

  • ooooo! it's a computer

  • Oh...it's a computer...

  • 0:41 Awesome Groove!!

  • is this a progressive metal song? coz this sounds so medley.. the transitions just suck.

  • @UnforgivingCritic You can't call it prog metal. Ron Jarzombek has too weird a style to call it that.

  • @CyValkarion no, it really is progressive. There's nothing weirder than progressive technical metal. Even neo-classical genre can go suck Prog's dick.

  • This song is so sick! I like it!!!

  • Bass solo is from Sean Malone actually.

  • Haha, that's my Michael Manring photo.

  • The Jarzombek parents must be very proud.

  • @aligatorsandwitch72 no doubt

  • Jarzombek. 'Nuff said.

  • the picture of the little girl scares the shit out of me

  • May I suggest Chris Broderick as an example of what it means to be a classically trained metal musician? ;-) BTW. HUGE Jarzombek fan here!

  • Yup

  • am i the only one who hears chopins fantasie impromptu around 1:14?

  • @Jman0101 Only in progression. However, I must agree on some level. Good ear! May I point out though....that many of these progressions could be traced back to classical origins. May I suggest Chris Broderick as an example of what it means to be a classically trained metal musician? ;-) BTW. HUGE Jarzombek fan here!

  • Garbage from morons. I smell it

  • Holy motherfcking sht... Are this guys for real? xD Talent excess.

  • Ohhh.... it's a Computer !

  • /watch?v=uW5GjbidEHU&feature=related

  • Just amazing!!!

  • WTF @ 1:30. Madeleine McCann??? Random...

  • The use of Madeleine McCann's picture @ 1:22 is lacking taste to say the least.

  • @oxlodapac I just googled young child or something, didn't realise who it was. Her case wasn't publicised where I live (Canada). Now that i know who it is, yeah not the best idea.

  • @PriestofHiroshima I was going to comment on just that, but I thought there'd be a fair reasoning.

Thanks for uploading this though, this is my first exposure to Spastic Ink, and I'm loving it.

    Cheers again!

  • @PriestofHiroshima Oh, boy.

    That's funny.

  • @PriestofHiroshima I lold! :P

  • Man this song was sooo good but I was really turned off by that cheesy synth-solo in the middle... Plus all the talking. Oh well. Listen to it anyways.

  • starting @ 1:39 is such an amazing bass solo.

Anyone know if that is Sean Malone on bass?

  • @TAOVmusic

It's Michael Manring, I do believe.

  • @PriestofHiroshima

Yo, that's what I originally thought but for some reason the description has Sean Malone written down. Was just curious, thanks bro

  • manring? no! pete perez!

  • @PriestofHiroshima If it's Manring, I totally understand why it would be as awesome as it is. Manring = quite possibly one of my favourite bassists.

  • @TAOVmusic It's Michael Manring. Sean played on Melissa's Friend as I recall.

  • @TAOVmusic Well, it certainly isn't Michael Manring like the picture suggests!

  • @TAOVmusic Manring in the picture, but by the sounds of it, it's Malone on the track.

  • LSD

  • A LSD monitor, a five one two MB...Ooooh! It's a computer!

  • the bass solo is totally bad ass

  • ooooh! its a computer!

  • first time i listen to them...i like it!!

  • Kmanore, your attitude stinks!

Just pick up your guitar and play. Music isn't about who's the best

  • i was an aspiring guitarist until i discovered spastic ink. now i just stare at my axe while it gathers dust in the corner, knowing i could never come close to this.

  • can still fool around with it for fun!!! :D

  • @kmanore wow, thats horrible. these guys are good but there style and music isnt that complicated you can learn it.

  • Its like a metal Animals As Leaders

  • ...Uh, AaL IS metal dude, and additionally, if anything, Tosin and AaL sound more like Spastic Ink versus them sounding like AaL, but I don't really think Abasi takes much influence from RJ anyway, or at least to my knowledge.

  • yea youre right, the difference is, spastik ink are way better :P

  • what exactly does she says???????????

"""excuse me sir im looking for a word processor, i want to be able to control page breaks. and " ? " copy and paste, change the preset " ? ", oh yeah and create bookmarks! do you have anything like that sir?""""""

  • Is that Pete Perez on bass (I only ask because that was an AMAZING bass solo and I know the band has had a plethora of geust play on albums)?

  • it's certainly sean malone

  • @Hachem7 no man, it's micheal Manring on that bass solo, sean malone plays the solo on " In Memory of..." the 6th track of the ink compatible album!

  • @spipiaoudjajikoh Its actually RAY RIENDEAU!!, according to Ron Jarzombeks facebook page

  • I'D MARRY RON JARZOMBEK IF I WAS A GIRL!

  • Is this just one song? I can feel my mind getting fucked...

  • sean malone is the fretless god!

  • 1:15 - Multitracking is a beautiful thing. He could have built that up into a thousand harmonizing guitars and it still would have sounded incredible.

  • this....is fucking amazing
