  • John is soooooooo HOT!

  • Go Juanito!!!

  • 1:36 Swet child o' mine?

  • @leoguittarman i remember reading the pamphlet on this album. john was apparently a fan of guns n roses.he said so in there.

  • @McShieldBash nah, i don't think so. That kind of stadium rock is not John's type of music

  • @fede018 oh how the hell would you know

  • @thomascompton800 just listen to the solo music he made. Can you see him listenting to fucking Welcome to the Jungle?

  • DON JUANITOO :D ♪♫ (1:01)

  • the will ferrel jokes are getting old now.

he doesnt even look that much like him

  • 1:35 (:

  • @112233Rodd332211 is that GnR sweet child o'mine intro???

  • @fleacock131313 Yes! I laughed a little first time I heard. Frusciante is awesome, gotta love him. (:

  • Sweet Child O' Mine FTW! Love Frusciante *-----*

  • yeah... this is the band!!!

this band ahave a diffrient style music , and that what make this band to be so special right?

who thinks like me , so give a like

  • Fun Fact: the beginnings of the creation of this track started while they were making TUMPL

  • @krysekrys are you retarded?

  • bester song von denen den rest mag ich ned so

  • @krysekrys This makes no sense

  • @Cuyut982 actually, Will Ferrel is Chad Smith. Chad Smith>will farrel.

  • @greenday01989

Thats being melodic, not corporate. And thats real ironic having as nickname the most sellout band of the world

  • Funk Punk?

  • what came first? this or sweet child o mine?

  • @foah201 sweet child. this was kinda a appreciation parody at the end.

  • @foah201 Of course Sweet Child o' Mine came first, like two years before. They are obviously playing the SCoM riff.

  • @foah201 serious question?

  • I can live with this song by The RHCP's, kinda reminds me of Easy Target by Blink 182 and even Song2 by Blur... Now the slide show is something else!. I've seen all kinds of slide shows tied in with the song that's playing ..many of which are scenic in nature but this one is different and exciting. I almost missed cashing in on it, but curiousity killed the cat and I just happened to click the mouse and whoomph here it is..in my face. I enjoyed the show so much that I enjoyed the song too!

  • @krysekrys Dude, you might be refering to "Pretty Little Ditty"...

  • this looks like primal concrete sledge from Pantera

  • @elguillerebacan goddamn... never thought of it that way, ir really does hehe

  • i think they're dissing guns n roses at the end... i mean the song is dissing bands who bend over for the corporate cock.

  • @DeadTime34 thats ironic, just look at stadium arcadium and by the way... lol

  • You guys are such noobs ... The sweet child 'o mine part was obviousley just a nod to Gun's N' Roses...

  • @JakSpringTooth are you idiot? this song is older than sweet child o shit

  • @Koldenenmaster ....Cool down motherfucker. I'm not going to look up that shit.

  • @Koldenenmaster No, it's not. Guns n' Roses' "Appetite for Destruction" (including Sweet Child o' Mine) was released in 1987, the song was released as a single in 1988 and RHCP's' "Mother's Milk" was released one year later in 1989.

First get the knowledge, then start offending other users

  • @Koldenenmaster , check out this vid dude: watch?v=0UVPc6iJgFA , there's the answers for all the questions (listen till the end of the clip) about the relations between RHCP and GnR. Love both bands!! Rock on everybody

  • Sounds like primal concrete sledge by Pantera a bit. love both bands.

  • kiedis is like shawn michales in some images

  • Can someone tell me another song with the sound of 1:35 to 1:40??

  • @vhsm69 its guns n roses - sweet child o' mine.

  • 1:00 fucking iggy pop 2!

  • jajaja en el final sweet child o mine jeje

  • big big big big Hillel

  • RIP Hillel Slovak

  • Does anyone else think that that one guy looks kinda like Faith No More man?

  • I think there's a difference between a cover & a rip-off. & what was it he got hit with? A battery or something? If a battery hit me in the head that some douche threw at me, I'd be pretty pissed too.

  • WOW they was punk rock :O....

  • lol never knew that the Chili Peppers played fast. Then again my first record I got from them was One Hot Minute. And they play GnR at the end. Nice.

  • @Collegejew629 GNR copied rhcp the sweet child of mine rif was copied of of this song^^ (SLASH SUCKS MAJOR COCK)

  • @datsyuksdangles Slash sucks some major cock, but Appetite for Destruction came out in 1987 and Mother's Milk came out in 1989.

  • Err no.

My comment was a reply to someone who thought that because the Sweet Child O' Mine riff is in this song, the Chili Peppers were ripping on GN'R.

  • Irrelevant rant of the day goes to: 777Jackpot1.

What does that have to do with anything at all?

  • wow good punk stuff

  • Oh yeah, well your a towel

  • 1:35 jaja

is sweet child of mine - guns n roses

  • WTF? lo l the sweet chil o' mine lol

  • punk punk punk!

  • HAHA..."sox on cox"

  • you realize they were making fun of guns and roses right?

  • Nooo! Why'd they do that?!

  • the songsmaking fun of people who sellout to be on mtv, so guns N roses and then at the end they make fun of them directly playing sweet child of mine

  • No. You've got it completely wrong. Search "Red Hot Chili Peppers My Michelle" in the YouTube search engine and you'll hear Anthony explain the truth behind including the Sweet Child O' Mine riff.

  • well I only made the mistake of thinking what slash thought!

  • cause gnr suck!

  • i will bet you any amount of money that if all of America heard them, 97 % would love them and the other 3% would either be mentally ill people or people who have never heard music and have nothing to compare it to

  • i bet you any amount of money that you're a total fanboy.

  • wow, uhm. if you had all of America listen to GNR, 97% would say their awesome and the other 3% would be mentally ill people and people who haven't heard other music and have nothing to compare it to.

  • POR Q TERMINA CON SWEET CHILD O´MINE

  • ellos lo terminaron asi por respecto para Guns n Roses.

hoy tiene 20 anos este album!!

  • OLD SCHOOL Red Hot Chili Peppers >:D

  • 1:36 guns roses XD

  • the chorus is similar to pantera's "concrete sludge"

  • That's exactly what I was thinking.

  • sorry i meant "primal concrete sledge" excuse my two typose lol

  • I didn't know Will Ferrel was such a good drummer.

  • thats not will ferrel its chad smith lol

  • hahaha YEAH

  • the all Will Ferrel thing is getting old :)

  • i know what u mean but i nevr thought id c d day!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Cuyut982 I really hope you were joking.

    if not.........*sigh*

  • @Cuyut982 that's such a lame joke.

  • @Cuyut982 I didn't know Chad Smith was such a funny actor...

  • @Cuyut982 Will Ferrel looks like Chad Smith. Chad doesn't look like Will Ferrel.

  • @Cuyut982, I wonder if they're related.

  • wtf! good vid and music!

    i love rhcp!

    this one is classic!

    rock on freaky bro!

  • 00:18

john really looks like josh klinghoffer :)

  • I think it's funny that RHCP have been making music longer than GNR and they still parody them in a song that's kinda making fun of supposedly older songs.

That solo was definitely a tribute to EVH

And for everybody saying, "was that supposed to sound like SCOM?"

Of course!!! What do you think, it was just by some crazy chance that in a song that was a parody/tribute to rock he played one of the most famous riffs of all time without thinking about it and no one noticed?

    Use your brain (:

  • They never "parodied" them. Search "Red Hot Chili Peppers My Michelle" in the YouTube search engine and you'll hear Anthony explain the Sweet Child O' Mine riff.

  • it was weird how they were playing this fast-paced funky punk rock song and at the end, the sweet child o' mine riff was played.

  • Hey genius, that's keeping in theme of the song which is a tribute/parody of rock music.

  • When you are on that much heroin and/or LSD, ANYTHING makes sense.

  • rhcp is one the only bands to keep their ideals and aesthetics for over 25 years

  • haha just realized how funny the lyrics are. Also is the ending suppossed to sound like sweet child of mine?

  • same i just realized how good the lyrics are, especially before johns solo when ak goes, "go juanito!"

  • i love RHCP!

it reminds me of the Germs, which is a favorite band of Flea and Anthony!!!

  • well of course a favorite of flea FEAR and Germs played quite a few times together

  • Fucking Awesome!

  • I will be happy to kill you. Nobody cares that youre insulted, and how about..it doesnt change..and you die!

  • sorry bub - this isn't an instrumental. maybe you're thinking pretty little ditty? if you're so insulted that you think "somebody must die" over your own dumb error, maybe you should take a look in the mirror before you pick your target.

  • I'm sorry? What? I don't know anything about the instrumental version. This is the version that is on the album. There isn't an instrumental version on the album...

  • I dont think they really sold out either but their new stuff doesnt compare to the older stuff. Everything after red hot minute is just mediocre. Blood Sugar Sex Magik is by far the chili peppers at their very best. I would go out on a limb and say one of the best albums of all time.

  • This is love :D

  • This isn't bad at all, but its amazing to see how rhcp has changed over the years since this. Listen to Stadium Arcadium or By the Way and compare it to Mothers Milk or Freakey Styley and the difference is incredible.

  • yeah they totally sold out.

    wtf is their new shit

  • they didnt sell out they changed there style its not like there changing to popular styles i think there new stuff is way better for the record

  • they don't say put us on mtv they just say "put us on it"

anyway, ok, look at their new shit

now everyone "loves them" completely ignorant to this amazingness

  • first off i said they didnt sell out and second most people i talk to dont like the chili peppers

  • No, I said they sold out.

  • and how so?

  • oh my god.

they almost aren't the same people! are you joking?

  • so they changed style alot of bands do that thats doesnt mean they changed to the more popular style and sold out

  • Who ever said that they sold out, isnt a true fan. Theyve been through so much shit and difficulties and you can see their development. They just do what they feel to do. And i aprreciate every record theyll do, no matter how it sounds. I personally like all their stuff and i own every cd they ever made.

  • that's some serious bullshit man..you can't honestly say that you liked stadium arcadium if you listen to all of thier albums...lets take for exmple-Mother's milk. in my opinion its thier best album with songs like punk rock classic and stone cold bush..how can you comapre this awesome pure Funk,to the mainstream crap like snow on stadium arcadium, milion times a day on MTV..notice the course in punk rock classic "put us on MTV,all we really need, begging on our knees.."they hated MTV,but now....

  • I first got into the peppers as i heard songs like Californication or Scar Tissue. With the realease of Stadium Arcadium i really began listening to them more closely.

When i had to choose i would pick MM or BSSM of Stadium Arcadium, but i wouldnt go that far to say that theyve sold out.

When you read the book of Anthony Kiedis i probabally understand why they did Californication and By the way. They were just happy to make music together with John and that music was very minimalistic.

  • And when you listen very closely to SA you can tell that its far away from mainstream. There were some songs that are a bit more pop music like Snow, but honestly its a kickass song.

People just start disliking music when its getting popular.

I say that if they were that succesful with MM as with Californication you wouldnt have said that.

Anyways love The Peppers (now matter wich album), keep listening to them in the future, buy the Frusciante record and keep the love flowing.

    Peace

  • if you were a real peppers fan, you would still enjoy SA because it shows the bands true versatility and creativeness, they can play whatever the want and they do. There are even funky tracks on SA like Hump De Bump and Charlie

  • You have to realize AnerStroz, that the boys aren't in their 20's anymore. They're in their late 40's and have reached what all bands reach, Maturity. That's all that's happened. And when bands that have been around as long as the Chili's have and they're still singing about what they did 20 years ago, that's just strange. and By The Way, (yes pun!) Stadium Arcadium was a beautiful album which truly got me listening to the Chili's. It's by no means my favorite. I like their older stuff better

  • Agreed!

  • I like new AND old RHCP. It's just really different. That guy's right. Down there. Tha guy. Slower &, like, more mature.

  • At about 1:36 i think John played the intro to "sweet chilid o' mine"

  • yah he does

  • indeed

  • ironic solo

  • thats a nice solo:)

  • Ooh! Was that the intro to to Sweet Child o' Mine at 1:36? :D

  • No one believes me when I tell them that Flea was in FEAR. Not punks, not chilli peppers fans. NO ONE!

  • why not? I don't get it, it is true isn't it?

  • Yeah, that's why is in all these documentaries about hardcore punk music.

  • then they're not really fans then right? heh..but yeah Flea was totally in Fear.

  • ofc he was in Fear, read Scar Tissue by: Anthony Kiedis :D

  • where did you get all those badass old school chilis pics!?

  • umm, I don't remember :/ From everywhere I guess, some where sent to me, others from Google, and I searched on Google for a picture search site :P I found some there too :)

  • Rad!!!!!!!!

  • omg flea has a butthole surfers tshirt

  • ce sa mai zic ...meseriasi dusi cu vaca...red hot!

  • sweet child o' mine at the end :-)))

  • yes, after "I'm a video joe in an industry" the unison bend can remind Manic Depression, but I don't think it's intentional

  • its the exact same thing from manic depression

  • does anyone notice the rip off of manic depression in there

  • Who are Manic Depression and how do they rip from them? In the song? Or in the pictures?

  • lol. It's a Hendrix song. and Its in the song

  • Is it during the Solo? all I can hear is the sweet child of mine.

  • whats with the end guns n roses

  • its just a riff of sweet child o mine they used to finish the song out.

  • omg i love this song! and pics are awesome:) i seen some of them but not everyone. i love old peppers;)

  • very good pics and the song is awesome! :)
