i plan on buying a reasonably priced uke but dont know any good brands. i dont want to buy anything serious, id like to buy a nice uke i can practice on until i figure out if i want to be serious on the uke or not. Ive heard that mahalo has some uke's, any opinions on those or which brands you recommend ?

On classical guitar you're taught to always spell chords from the lowest string up.

It's one size bigger then the tenor and tuned just like a guitar....the guitars last four strings. The sound is fuller and more bassy. Kinda sounds like a folk guitar with nylon strings.

My ukulele is tuned to a GCEA tuning.
