And, yes we invaded to protect ourselves from terrorists, though it turned out there were no weapons they could've ever used against us. So we basically wasted 3 trillion dollars. However, when they started taking away basic human rights, like with that Patriot Act, conservatives GAVE reason to fear the government more than the terrorists.

Examples ancient Athens was a democracy while Rome was a republic.Ever heard of that.Remember history class the democracy of Athens and the Republic of Rome.Also I asked a teacher a while back.He said there was a huge difference.He majored in Political Science and he is a teacher for it at a collage.
