  • I find it quite impressive that regardless of the noise and people around him, he still manages to meditate and do his thing. May peace be with him forever :D

  • Namaste. :)

  • haha I met this guy when I was there!

  • What a crock of shit, pagan idol worshipping scum.

  • @Iskender2144 your ignorance can be measured in tons

  • took me right back to this most sacred of places. I have a healing Tibetan bowl from there.

  • @Muuzip99 ha look who's talking

  • @thedvsgmr what spirituality do these so called monks practice and believe in when they dont even believe in the Divine? Its spirituality with no "essence" but rather another form of "materialism" which is displayed in their idol worship, this in itself is an indication that they unconsciously disbelieve in the science of the inner being of man. It is a foney and a lie, looking at his face there is no light to be found whatsoever another indication of one being devoid from the reality.

  • @Iskender2144 You are foolish to believe that all buddhists are one way. It depends on which branch you are from. Also buddhism is not just about being full of light but to face reality. You have no idea what is going on in his mind and have no buisness predicting that, though you do have the right. It is very serious for believers.

  • @Iskender2144 Have you seen Truth, and I mean with your own mind-and-heart, and not just through the intellect (by reading scripture)?

Buddhism is challenging. It requires us to look deep within our own hearts, to pull out negative qualities, and to plant positive ones. It requires us to love all beings, yes even our so-called 'enemies', just as in your religion.

We are really not that different, you or I or anyone else. All we really know is this body, and this mind-and-heart. All is there.

  • lavenderstreak,

I wish I knew this monk's name and where he lives? That would be nice. Tashi delek from an American woman!

  • Tashi delek!

It's Thanksgiving and a blessing to watch and hear this monk(?) chant and use altar objects. We new followers of Tibetan Buddhism need more videos like this to learn how to chant and use altar objects during meditation and prayer givings. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I dedicate many of my merits to you monk.

  • Very sweet comment, thank you. I would like to go back and listen and learn more.

  • From November 18th to the 23rd, 2009 Palden Dorje will be giving blessings in Gadhi Mai. He plans this appearance in order to protest the sacrificing of tens of thousands of animals before they take place on the 24th at the Gadhi Mai Festival near Nijgad in Bara District. Please participate. May all beings be happy.

  • I've been to swayambhu many times and it just reminds me of my childhood.
