blu-ray personnaly is not needed forr movies as you can ge blu-ray quality HD from a DVD and blu-ray will probably be needed for things like video gaming as they take up so much space that they can't fit it on one dvd and have to put it on multiple discs so blu-ray would be the better option but they can't do it exclusively on blu-ray because production costs for the game are too high for them to do release it exclusively without a loss blu-ray might be the future of game or all digital will be

If you have a good TV you would know that no DVD can match the quality of a Blu-Ray when it comes to movie picture quality because you would be able to see the difference. And a big difference it is with the right set up.

It has dedicated servers, while Xbox 360 only has PeerToPeer, PS3 has better specs and uses BluRay instead of 10 years old technology called DVD, which supports up to 8.5GB while BluRay at doublelayers does 50GB.

AS for games; Those are opinionated, however most of Xbox 360's exclusives are also on PC with better graphics & free online.
