so adorable...years ago my kitten was chewing on my necklace...all of a sudden i notice the stone is gone! i ran kitty to the vet, her in one hand a a bottle of ipecac in the other! lol an x-ray showed the stone had already passed out of her tummy! they said i could take her home & wait....or keep her there & they'd do the sifting. next day i pick up "piglet" and a nice clean stone...and a vet bill! needless to say, i didn't let her chew my necklace ever again.
