@Moonfood78 im a ccw in pa. YOU CAN open carry in PA but police can make your life a hell. I recomend the CCW pay for it it is worth it. I like how people say carrying a gun is wrong or stupid. In my town of virginia their has been 16 robberies in two months. And one incident where a man forced his way into a womans house and held her at gun point while she begged for her life and he robbed her of all her jewelry and including her deceased husbands old war medals. @husbandshunter13 In all honesty, you are FAR MORE likely to get arrested if you do have a permit. As someone who has one and carries concealed everyday, and has done exhaustive amount of research into the rules of carrying... Ok question you stated that in your state if for whatever reason you were "printing" and some one called the police you could be arrested? wouldnt a conceal carry permit prevent that?
Awesome info. Next video think about the back lighting and also a light color shirt might help. Thanks from Delaware.I open carry for now and am going for my CCW permit.I carry open loaded and cocked in my locking holster. What is the point to carry unloaded and un-cocked? You will be killed. It's like carrying a phone with no battery.Stupid idea.
Can you really be arrested if someone sees your gun through your shirt an you have a permit? At most wouldn't it be a matter of proving to the LEO that you have a permit, and at the very least considered open carry?
@tobinweltin you cant be arrested strictly for that purpose, but, all it takes is for someone who doesn't know you have a permit to call the cops and say hey this guy has a gun i just saw him go into a store with it, and right there, the cops can charge you with inducing panic if they wanted to and can strip you of your CCW license and your gun if they wanted to. So....just conceal it.
Loaded open carry yes but if his state does not allow for that, he would be in trouble considering unloaded open carry requires the gun to be unloaded.
Man I wish canadian gun laws were about the same as american. Cuz i seems like here in canada if you shot and killed someone, even if it was in self defense and a kill or be killed situation you would still get a man slaughter charge.
@Razorfish when I carry in the waistband my belt and the pants actually secure the pistol quite well I have not had a problem with it ever falling out. If it did fall out I would assume I was doing back flips or something. (I cant do a back flip though so I think im pretty safe)
If your not careful when physically inspecting the breech of a semi-automatic pistol, you can jamm and hurt your finger.Much better to use a pen,or other small object, but don't get lazy and just visually check.
That's a great way to carry a Ka-Bar. I used the same method a couple of months ago, It's very easy to access the knife and also keeps it hidden extremely well.
I'm glad there are no "printing" laws were I live. A holster can bulge, in fact the bottom of the holster could even be showing. The key is not making it obvious that its a gun. If the bottom of the holster could be a cell phone (etc.) as far as anyone else is concerned. I currently wear my full size gun outside my waistband in a Serpa holster. I'm considering a holster inside the waistband to expand my options.
I live in Illinois, where alderman, mayors, obama, and there body guards all have the right to protect there daughters and familys, for me they say @&$% you and your pretty wife and girls.
LAND OF THE FREE.......loaders.......Go OBAMA!......SHARE THE(my)WEALTH!
The police are one your side. They know that if you have a CCL (Concealed carry license) you have had and FBI check run on you and that you are one of the good guys. They support the law... and most of the instructors are indeed officers or retired officers. They are not going to hassle you for "printing." Perhaps they would pass a word to the effect that it IS printing and someone, with good intentions, could be concerned if they spot it.
I don't know where the creater of this post lives, or where some of the people who commented live, but the laws regarding printing varies from state to state. Some states specifically says what is considered concealed, while others don't.Also just because one police officer doesn't arrest you for printing a gun with a CC permit, doesn't mean that it is legal or that another cop won't arrest you.Check with the state you live and find out what the law says, it can save you a lot of trouble and money.
What the hell kind of law would allow concealed carry but not for it to show through clothes? I had some ass call the cops because the handle of my .357 was showing. I showed em my CC card and they fucked off.
@funnyklown1 Wrong. In Texas, it is a violation of the law, for CCW permit holders, to carry a weapon in a way that "prints". It's totally stupid, but it is the law.
I mean no disrespect here, but I am a little confused as to why you think "printing" will get you in trouble. I also live in Texas, in my area most of the cops will tell people to make sure that it is CONCEALED (can not see it). Thats the whole point of a CHL isnt it? I dont want people to know when I am carrying. Like I said... no disrespect... just trying to understand.
@profitleads so can't open carry with ccw in texas, but texas an open carry state check your codes to if it says that. wv u can if u want to too and non residents can open carry in wv
some of the things said in this video surprise me, I just never heard of getting arrested for printing if you have a ccw but I could be wrong, i will check it out. But I do know there is another license for open carry and it's called a G permit, armed security guards have to have them displayed on thier chest here in the state of florida.

Some of u Guys are paranoid!!! a "Bad Guy" wont risk a gun battle if he knows ur carrying a gun if u carry it concealed ur the "weak Target" and once the atack begins ur anyway in a Defensive position and most of the time some kind of weapon is already brought up on u! so do it like Pro´s stay the Hard Target. unless u have a John Mclaine complex a think ur a Hero. a Hero is usualy called a Good Guy who tried to be brave!
That's some pretty stupid stuff to say. A "Bad Guy" won't get into a "gun battle" with somebody openly carrying. They would just shoot you. You would be the first target. Carrying concealed does not make you a "weak target". The fact that you have a gun and nobody knows gives you a great advantage. I'm very glad not all idiots that think they know something about guns walk around with guns on them.
@ElTejon47901 ROFL!! What is this "printing" nonsense. (?????) Printing is when the outline of a handgun or holster is shown through clothing. Thank God I live in a very Second Amendment friendly state (Indiana). I found the video very informative. I hope you never have to exercise your Second Amendment rights, but if you do, guess what? you will be standing there at the BG's mercy. Not me thank you.
well idiot, ill qoute from the video " in my state if someone sees my gun, you can get arrested for that " if he has a concealed weapons permit, why would he be arrested if someone sees his gun
I have never heard of an open carry permit, though I suppose it may exist in some states.
For the most part, some states have legal open carry for anybody legally able to own a gun, and then permits for conceal carry.
That is Arizonas current law, though there is some process in our legislature to change it to legal conceal or open carry without needing a permit (except for in private property like restaurants or grocery stores)
Because that is called brandishing. The point to a concealed weapon permit is that your weapon must be concealed. Some states have laws where you can open carry or conceal carry so it is no big deal. But many states have brandishing laws.
Completely illogical and idiotic, but that's government for you...
I have to agree that 33 rounds is probably overkill, but if you choose to carry it, who am I to tell you what not to do. However it is important to carry at least one extra magazine. The magazine is one of the most fragile parts of a gun. Dropping a weapon onto the magazine could render your gun nothing more than a fancy rock to throw at the guy. To me, the extra magazine isn't about extra ammo, but a way to make sure my gun will work.
@ryanjcus I think his point is that there's no reason that somebody should go stickin their finger in the chamber, all it takes is a bump to trip the slide stop mechanism and next thing you know you've got a black nail and one hell of a finger-ache. Seen it happen at least 3 times.
you should try it fordfan09. if it'd be so cool to watch you would have the original video so you would have the most fun out of us all, watching it day and night. Of course you would have to endure just a small price for it
all im sayin is if your aint competent enough to LOOK and see if theres a bullet in it ya pry shouldnt be shootin it to begin with. AND, you cant tell me its safe to do it. so. do what you want. but when guns get a bad enough rap as it is, the last thing i wanna see is some idiot on the news who had his finger severed before he even shot the damn thing. and maybe im just a little old school, but if if soomeone does somethin dumb, they should get whats comin to em. its common sense. use your eyes
if I'm not mistaken, I think the military does finger chamber checks. I could be mistaken, but if thats the case I think thats enough validity for me. Its just another way of reassuring yourself your not going to shoot your foot off when you "dry-fire" your pistol if you have a single action pistol only. I can't stand how people on youtube nit-pick everything. Everybodys an expert on youtube
shouldnt point it at your foot anyway. just cause the military does it dont mean its right. i went shootin with an ex-army guy less than a week ago and the dude couldnt hit the broadside of a barn standin in it. and he didnt know how to really handle his gun. so not everythin the military does is law. if you wanna put your finger in there go for it. but not me. but its not somethin to be showin to other people. like the "youtube experts" that get on here and think they know how afterward.
I know a lot more people who finger check than people who don't. Its over-all safer. If you have a good firearm it shouldn't randomly release the slide on your finger. Its a safety precaution. It has a purpose and it is effective. No one said you should aim it at your foot I was speaking in worst case scenario, but you should point your firearm downward when dryfiring your single action firearm. The army teaches things for a reason because it has a purpose. Better safe than sorry.
i spoke wtih a co-worker today who spent more than twenty years in the army and they never taught him that. and he was in the ARMY, if any branch would teach it, it would be the ARMY. he said in 20 years they never taught that.
this is what I wrote from a previous post "if I'm not mistaken, I think the military does finger chamber checks. I could be mistaken" Let me just say that I've heard of many more negligent discharges than I have heard of people getting their fingers getting slammed in the chamber and even than I'd rather have my finger get beat up from the slide than having some police officer take my firearm away because of a negligent discharge. You can play your own odds.
well then your co worker hasnt had very good training or hasnt been trained by me. i have been an army small arms weapons instructor for 4 years and we have taught the finger check to over 20,000 troops that came through ft bragg. reasons we finger check
1. possible broken extractor the round might not kick out just because you rack the slide to clear the weapon.
2.night time operations when light discipline is essential you will be able to feel that there is a round in the chamber
3. you do it night or day to make sure that you have the muscle memry to do it every time wether it is night or day. so good job armed24seven im glad you practice proper safety techniques just remember its the person who thinks they know everything about thier firearm are going to be the ones who get soo comfortable with thier firearms that they have a negligent discharge.
you really have to conceal a folding knife? i know here in alabama you dont i have one clipped in my pocket in plain view, and a leatherman clipped on my belt loop, only thing that sucks im so used to it i put it on when i go to school, lucky i didnt get seen when i do it on accident.
state by state, here in MO, we can carry a folding knife under four inches in length before we need to conceal with a permit, four in. or less and it's considered a "tool" as opposed to a weapon
I love the G19. 33 round mags are fantastic with the G19. Everyone that can, should get a CCW license. I was fortunate in that the thugs did not get my car when they tried to carjack me a few years ago. A crime is why I got my CCL. DON'T LET A CRIME HAPPEN TO YOU FOR YOU TO FINALLY GET A CCL!!!!! Now let em try to carjack me. I have many guns and am highly trained. I got the "JUDGE" ready for their FACE. A nice .410 to the FACE should do the job.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
How hypocritical, the guy talking about thugs is advocating a 33 rd mag.. you're more likely to injure an innocent bystander should you expend that many rounds in the first place.
If you're ever in a situation that requires that amount of firepower - you shouldn't be there. 15 Rounds in the standard mag is more than enough to shoot your way out of a bad situation and escape to safety.
You're obviously as retarded as you appear in the "uuummm" video.
No where did I denounce carrying a firearm, I carry a G19 myself. However, carrying around huge mags like 33rd's are ridiculously stupid comments and sounds like something a 'Thug' would do.
Equally stupid are the people that carry 2-3 extra mags for EDC. If you can't get the job done in 1 standard magazine, You Shouldn't Be There - and Should Retreat.
@ryanjcus No, just someone that actually understands what CC is all about. It's supposed to be a Last Line of defense, as in Non-Lethal options & Retreat are first and second choices. Only ridiculously idiotic individuals like yourself would carry a 33rd mag.
@Trigunflame Hey asshole....I dont know why you are responding to me. I think your comment should of be directed towards NaxTactical. I agree with him, and you're fuckin stupid. Have a nice day! :)
@ryanjcus Good vid, I'm curious though. What state do you live in? Do they allow open carry? I've never heard of getting arrested for your gun showing print while legally concealing it. Thanks
@Trigunflame if you can carry a 33rd mag comfortably, why not? you think cops or military that use 33's are idiotic..? And you are dead wrong (literally) about retreating, it depends on your state. In mine im not required to try and run away before responding...... if you are in a situation where a weapon is needed, unless you are a weak minded person who cant trust their own judgement, why on earth would you turn your back on that threat? Thats idiotic.
@Trigunflame You sir are a fucking retard. Your life gets threatened don't ever retreat. Non-Lethal & Retreat HAHA when you get hit or run down maybe your eyes will open.
@Trigunflame No i believe you sir are the dimwitted fool. You have no idea, I'm willing to bet you have never been in that situation. So what your telling me is if you see a threat your going to run and hide when you have the means to do something about it? People like you are why this country is headed right for the shitter. You have believed every thing you have ever heard. See the gvmnt wants us to be helpless bitches who run and hide. You have fun with your mindset. You fucking child.
@redeemfreedom Yes, again ask any LEO and they will tell you just the same you fucking nimrod. You let the Police take care of the situation, not You; being gung-ho and risk injuring other people in the process is a risk that You have no right to take.
@Trigunflame You don't get it. While you wait for the police to show someone will hopefully have already acted and taken care of the situation. Furthermore any self respecting LEO will tell you to fight. Because unlike in your video game world, fights are not fair there are no rules. In the real world you only have one life. I will be damned if I will let someone take it from me. Especially not going to take a bullet in the back while I run and hide. The God of War hates those who hesitate.
@Trigunflame Look if ur answer to a life treating situation or better yet ur life treating situation is just to use non-lethal force of cowardly retreat then just don't have a weapon. All u would do is be supplying the criminal with ur firearm after getting shot in the head while using non-lethal of in the back while running.
@Trigunflame I'm afraid I must agree on one point. I find 33 round mags unweildy. However, the fact that you would run away or use Less-Lethals is just sad. I do not trust my life to a taser, I trust it to Colt and Heckler & Koch. The police will not be there every time. Sometimes the situation requires that you grow a pair and step up, not run away. RedeemFreedom, ryanjcus, keep it up.
@rlchts1cmdr Statistics don't lie. You have a Much higher percentage chance of living, even if being shot in the process of retreat, than getting in a gunfight. This is Fact. Not debatable. If you're cornered and have no other means by which to evade, then yes, stand your ground the best you can and defend yourself using any available means. However, if you're out in the midst of the public and something happens, You have no right to take action in your own hands.
@rlchts1cmdr What's worse than One person firing in a gunfight? Two. Sorry, but I don't trust Joe Blow and his snub nose for shooting the bad guy instead of me if I'm 5 feet to his side. Let the police handle these situations. Retreat if you can.
getting arrested for printing must be in states where open carry is illegal. In VA open carry is completely legal. You're required to have a permit to conceal. The hot topic here at the moment is the fact that open carry is allowed in bars but not concealed. A lot of CCW holders use whats called a "Virginia Tuck" where they pull the shirt tail behind the grip of the weapon, exposing it. There's debate on the legality of that method. Our new gov. has said he will repeal the CCW ban in bars.
Yea I live in pa also, I never had the balls to go open carry, no need to either really, I also have my ltcf.

The police are one your side. They know that if you have a CCL (Concealed carry license) you have had and FBI check run on you and that you are one of the good guys. They support the law... and most of the instructors are indeed officers or retired officers. They are not going to hassle you for "printing." Perhaps they would pass a word to the effect that it IS printing and someone, with good intentions, could be concerned if they spot it.
ld0yle 1 year ago
I don't know where the creater of this post lives, or where some of the people who commented live, but the laws regarding printing varies from state to state. Some states specifically says what is considered concealed, while others don't.Also just because one police officer doesn't arrest you for printing a gun with a CC permit, doesn't mean that it is legal or that another cop won't arrest you.Check with the state you live and find out what the law says, it can save you a lot of trouble and money.
mandalitten 1 year ago
What the hell kind of law would allow concealed carry but not for it to show through clothes? I had some ass call the cops because the handle of my .357 was showing. I showed em my CC card and they fucked off.
ithouston 1 year ago 2
In my state you won't be arrested for printing in public, but you may receive a hefty fine.
Muglosx 1 year ago
you can't be arested for having your gun showing through clothing cause it is legal to have them in public.
funnyklown1 1 year ago
@funnyklown1 Wrong. In Texas, it is a violation of the law, for CCW permit holders, to carry a weapon in a way that "prints". It's totally stupid, but it is the law.
profitleads 1 year ago
I mean no disrespect here, but I am a little confused as to why you think "printing" will get you in trouble. I also live in Texas, in my area most of the cops will tell people to make sure that it is CONCEALED (can not see it). Thats the whole point of a CHL isnt it? I dont want people to know when I am carrying. Like I said... no disrespect... just trying to understand.
bryler1030 1 year ago
The laws will be different state by state.
Some states even let you open carry.
skater3shefik 1 year ago
@profitleads so can't open carry with ccw in texas, but texas an open carry state check your codes to if it says that. wv u can if u want to too and non residents can open carry in wv
lbizzythefire 1 year ago
some of the things said in this video surprise me, I just never heard of getting arrested for printing if you have a ccw but I could be wrong, i will check it out.

TCFamas 1 year ago

@tmd963 ............... Uhhh... Do your research dumbass. How does one "illegally conceal" with a CCW?
reddenitup 1 year ago
well idiot, ill qoute from the video " in my state if someone sees my gun, you can get arrested for that " if he has a concealed weapons permit, why would he be arrested if someone sees his gun
tmd963 1 year ago
Because you need an open carry permit where he is for exposed carry?
scilonthreat 1 year ago
LOL that is fucking stupid, a permit for both kinds of carry. In Maine open carry is legal, you need a permit for concealed.
tmd963 1 year ago
I have never heard of an open carry permit, though I suppose it may exist in some states.
For the most part, some states have legal open carry for anybody legally able to own a gun, and then permits for conceal carry.
That is Arizonas current law, though there is some process in our legislature to change it to legal conceal or open carry without needing a permit (except for in private property like restaurants or grocery stores)
KurNorock 1 year ago

To me, the extra magazine isn't about extra ammo, but a way to make sure my gun will work.

all im sayin is if your aint competent enough to LOOK and see if theres a bullet in it ya pry shouldnt be shootin it to begin with. AND, you cant tell me its safe to do it. so. do what you want. but when guns get a bad enough rap as it is, the last thing i wanna see is some idiot on the news who had his finger severed before he even shot the damn thing. and maybe im just a little old school, but if if soomeone does somethin dumb, they should get whats comin to em. its common sense. use your eyes
fordfan09 2 years ago
if I'm not mistaken, I think the military does finger chamber checks.
Armed24seven 2 years ago
shouldnt point it at your foot anyway. just cause the military does it dont mean its right. i went shootin with an ex-army guy less than a week ago and the dude couldnt hit the broadside of a barn standin in it. and he didnt know how to really handle his gun. so not everythin the military does is law. if you wanna put your finger in there go for it. but not me. but its not somethin to be showin to other people. like the "youtube experts" that get on here and think they know how afterward.
fordfan09 2 years ago
I know a lot more people who finger check than people who don't. Its over-all safer. If you have a good firearm it shouldn't randomly release the slide on your finger. Its a safety precaution. It has a purpose and it is effective. No one said you should aim it at your foot I was speaking in worst case scenario, but you should point your firearm downward when dryfiring your single action firearm. The army teaches things for a reason because it has a purpose. Better safe than sorry.
Armed24seven 2 years ago 2
i spoke wtih a co-worker today who spent more than twenty years in the army and they never taught him that. and he was in the ARMY, if any branch would teach it, it would be the ARMY. he said in 20 years they never taught that.
fordfan09 2 years ago
this is what I wrote from a previous post "if I'm not mistaken, I think the military does finger chamber checks.
Armed24seven 2 years ago
well then your co worker hasnt had very good training or hasnt been trained by me. i have been an army small arms weapons instructor for 4 years and we have taught the finger check to over 20,000 troops that came through ft bragg. reasons we finger check
1. possible broken extractor the round might not kick out just because you rack the slide to clear the weapon.
2.night time operations when light discipline is essential you will be able to feel that there is a round in the chamber
firepower50665 2 years ago
3. you do it night or day to make sure that you have the muscle memry to do it every time wether it is night or day. so good job armed24seven im glad you practice proper safety techniques just remember its the person who thinks they know everything about thier firearm are going to be the ones who get soo comfortable with thier firearms that they have a negligent discharge.
firepower50665 2 years ago
i can assure you he had plenty of training
fordfan09 2 years ago

you really have to conceal a folding knife? i know here in alabama you dont i have one clipped in my pocket in plain view, and a leatherman clipped on my belt loop, only thing that sucks im so used to it i put it on when i go to school, lucky i didnt get seen when i do it on accident.
slapoutz 2 years ago
state by state, here in MO, we can carry a folding knife under four inches in length before we need to conceal with a permit, four in. or less and it's considered a "tool" as opposed to a weapon
Skippy8806 2 years ago
I love the G19. 33 round mags are fantastic with the G19. Everyone that can, should get a CCW license. I was fortunate in that the thugs did not get my car when they tried to carjack me a few years ago. A crime is why I got my CCL. DON'T LET A CRIME HAPPEN TO YOU FOR YOU TO FINALLY GET A CCL!!!!! Now let em try to carjack me. I have many guns and am highly trained. I got the "JUDGE" ready for their FACE. A nice .410 to the FACE should do the job.

@Trigunflame if you can carry a 33rd mag comfortably, why not? you think cops or military that use 33's are idiotic..? And you are dead wrong (literally) about retreating, it depends on your state. Trigunflame 1 year ago

NaxTactical 1 year ago
