German beer is good, but Czech beer is great also, and let's not forget the Irish, that means that in Germany you can't brew a stout or a pils? That's kinda sad.

i'm assuming he means either caramel crystal malts (i doubt there is any/much) or carapils/dextrin malt (more likely in euro beers)
