the transmission on the 2005-2012 Nissan Latio (Singapore, Indonesia & Malaysia)/ Nissan Versa (United States & Canada)/ Nissan Tiida Latio (Japan)/ Dodge Trazo/ Nissan Tiida
Nice. I wonder when Edaran Tan Chong Motors (the official dealer for Nissan in Malaysia) is going to bring in the facelifted version. And unlike Honda (not sure about Toyota), Nissan isn't officially involved in sales and distribution of Nissan cars in Malaysia, so we have to depend on the dealer itself to consider when to bring in new models and such.
Same. We've got the Facelifted one since last year. In the video, I've seen that there are a few differences. The parking brake in the ones we have HK is a foot brake and not a hand brake.
RM 96,000. AHHHHHH That's unjustifiably expensive, more than a BMW. One in the US in 4 doors with the 1.6 engine starts at just under $10,000, or about RM 32,000. probably because the Latio isn't made in Malaysia.
Yeh, I think the Versa is one of the cars sold in the US with a very low MSRP? I think it is, or did it come from Thailand. RM96,000 is more than the MSRP of a BMW in the US, but it's still considerably cheaper than a BMW here.
You're right I was exaggerating the price, but that's ALOT for a basic car. The Versa costs $6000 less that the Corolla and Civic, 3000 less than a Toyota Yaris or Hyundai Accent, and about 2000 less than a Chevrolet/Daewoo Aveo. Better off going for a used Honda Civic. Versa I THINK is the cheapest, not sure. BTW I checked on Honda's US site just now and the 2010 Civic now comes in EX-L, meaning you get leather seats on it!! Other than the VW Jetta nobody else does that in US, not even Hyundai.

I thought so, because Thailand uses the Tiida name.
