Yes, the microphone pics it up just fine, just like it does in the start. The Microphone doesn't get worse during the concert. I heard plenty of people singing at the start. I heard none in the chorus. He stopped at a completely illogical point, and he waited WAY too long before singing again. He pretty much ruined it.
