  • They look like riteri anemones,(heteractis magnifica) the foot is red and the tentacles r kinda round tips. Carpets have shot tentacles.

  • can you get any type of anemone with compact flueorescents?

  • no, you have to buy them at different stores

  • Condylactis anemones will do ok with Compact Flos if you feed it frequently, but they don't host clownfish. The problem with anemones is they move around, get sucked into powerheads, sting your livestock, get huge, etc. If you plan on getting one you really need to set your tank up around it, i.e create a reef tank specifically for it.
