I actually think that it would be interesting if we saw the Happy Tree Friends in real-life situations, such as love, hate, drugs, adultery, and things like that. The insane violence and gore got old VERY quickly for me :/

I know what you mean. But the premise of the show is the violence. Kenn and Warren said from the beginning they wouldn't use things like drugs or guns or things of that nature. But there are some that deal with love among other things. Probably more evident in the TV series though.
