hi, it was good! i'm planning to get this or a classic player 50 as my second guitar, first i was planning to get a deluxe roadhouse but really don't like texas specials, so for rhcp stuff which one do you think fit the style better the cp50 or the deluxe player, i'm running trough an excellent effect pedal board.... thanks!

seems like the mexican strats sound way better than the american made ones, atleast 6 i tried at guitar center, sounded bleh compared to the cheaper $400 mexi ones

Hey there! I would recomed you to go the shop & try each of them. Personally speaking, i would go for made in mexico, becouse i've heard a lot of complains on highway series - it is the cheapest med in usa guitar. Don't know try it for yourself, what suite's you best. cheers!

Very nice, but I honestly do think switching over to a pick would be a good idea. I see a lot of people who try to do fingerstyle rock and blue, and for some it works out pretty well...but for the most part, music with a lot of single notes just sounds BETTER with a plectrum than with your fingers.

DAMN NICE PLAYING!! I've wanted a tube amp for a long time, but just couldn't get the money to get the vox or fender that I wanted. So I was thinking about this amp, but all of the reviews on youtube were mostly metal which is not what I play. This clip has been VERY useful, thank you! And again... DAMN FINE PLAYING. I love SRV's version of Little Wing.

you can get a crate v12 2x12 speaker tube amp for $200. just a heads up check out the vids her on youtube. i like the way it sounds.

Crate v33 and Crate v50 are great amps with a sweet clean channel, but crap gain channel. They take pedals really nicely infront of the amp through the clean channel. I just had my Crate V33 modded to Soldano Slo 100 specs and it made both the clean and lead channels sound like you paid $1000 bucks for the amp.

Hwy there! i don't have this amp anymore. Clean channel was great! Make a video so i can hear the difference. This pickups are original on this strat,ans they are noislless pickups.

I am looking to make a video soon, i dont have a decent mic right now, and until i do, any vid i make wouldnt capture the sound correctly. nice sounding pups, i had them on my strat too at one point, but i went back to texas specials cuz of that classic strat sound i could get out of them.

Amazing. can you get a good Tex-Mex blues style sound out of this amp? such as SRV? would you reccomend this amp to anyone?

I'm not sure about Tex-mex style sound.This Strat has vintage noisless pickups.I'm trying to get as much SRV sounding sound,but at the moment i'm using Ibanez Tube king pedal,which is not the best for this style.I'm waiting for tubescreamer,that wil be the real thing.This amp cost's nothing compare to outher one's.I paied about 400 euros for new one.What kind of music do you play?

To be honest, i had never posted any comment or rating in any video, but I did it now, because first of all, I think thats a MIM Fender Deluxe Roadhouse Stratocaster, Texas special Pups. That's the guitar I have, and that's the amp I wanna buy. The sound is really good. Thanks to these video, I've taken the decision to buy the amp. I've just needed something else to convince me, this video helped. Great playing, sounded like Jimi
