Oh tru, I have a bee*r limiter at home and have had it on my Caldina, rx8 and a few of my mates evo 4's and besides it drawing too much power from the ecu from time to time it has worked a treat, 1 of the evos had the wastegate screamer out the bonnet vent and that shot 2 foot flames =D
can some one tell me how i can make my fully stock 95 v6 mustang do that.. i got the pipes comming out rite before the back tires like side pipes but im trying to get flames to come out please help
unless u have like some crazy propane flamethrower u need to get the engine to not burn all the fuel that has entered it. u have valves, most likely will never do flames like that FC.
When comparing the design difference in air/fuel delivery between a rotary and a piston engine, the rotary due to it using ports instead of valves has a tendancy to allow some unburned fuel to pass straight through to the exhaust port. The high exhaust gas temperatures then detonate the unburned fuel - this is normal especially for a rotary and will cause no damage.
on an rx7 it is actually an after burn, caused during a shift by the car going super rich on an already rich running ratio. The unburnt fuel goes into the exhaust pipe and then combust causing flames to shoot out the exhaust. easy to creat on an rx7 all you have to do is remove the catalytic converter and poof you have a car shooting flames.
@chevron32 well, when people tune their rotary to run pig rich just to backfire its not bad, on a normal car it is since there's still oil on the chamber walls and the excess fuel can remove it and cause increased wear on it. rotaries don't have that, they have oil injectors that spray oil directly onto the apex seals, and a rotary also doesn't have a complete burn cycle at redline, i would say about 1/2 to 3/5th's of it at redline, happens in the exhaust. check out rotaryressurection's vid.
that looks so much like my mates fc...very fast cars...his was running 4psi with pp 13bt with 3inch dump pipe with twin exaust. and fuck that thing was fast!
lol, yeah, but if we were to blow up that motor, we would just rebuild it, lol its been rebuilt atleast 4 times since we got it 7 years ago, i was one of the first teams to rebuild it, and trust me it would throw rods if we started it up lol we just wanted it gone
exhaust can add way more than 10 hp on a piston motor.... account for headers, no cat, and straight pipes... granted exhaust will do more for a rotary, ill give you that
Any rotary will do that without cats. It can occur by cruising at a constant speed for a few minutes and letting your foot off the gas, or by taching it out and shifting.
Name of this song? any place i can dl it from?

Bee*R rev limit that shit

@higuy2011 I actually had the bee r at one point, it was pointless. I was able to produce better flames without it.

turbo 2's are worthless without that cats on...if you mash on the throttle it'll cut out and feel sluggish.

can i ask what exhaust that is???
I cant tell...: Bee*r , Misfire system Misc. , or flame thrower kit???
RedLine9 4 years ago
exhaust can add 20 to 30 hp on a rotary compared to a 5 to 10 imcrease on piston... that why I love rotary :)

racing beat downpipe and 3 inch catback got me 60 hp in my rx7 turbo 2

How are you doing that? are you letting the RPM fall then spiking it back up? or are you just driving it normally?
