Dafnis is playing Cuban ñañigo..then rumba (guaguanco) etc...because he is playing his heritage plus - modern drummers. You can feel and see the hi-hat as the metronome.. it's a comtemporary cuban drumming...all to say.. Dafnis my favor composer...melody, harmony and coordination of any kind...I love it and inspires me...Music is not a Competition but an inspiration...-aa.
I wish the sound was more clear so you can tell what on earth he's doing! He's so fast and clean but some of the sounds kind of blend together and I can't tell what's what

he's shrank his setup considerably since his modern drummer days. his playing is no way diminished though.
