Sew in and braids are so convenient. I got a full sew-in yesterday. I think me and my hair just need a break away from each other :)

i love that sew in! i hope that i can get another someday. girl, i've been traumatized! newly natural after transitioning w/braids for over a year, i got a full sew-in in march and wore it about 2 1/2 months. (i gave my hair a break for about 1 month). i was busy and overwhelmed and didn't know how to care for my hair. that weave was too tight and so itchy i was paranoid i had lice! now that it is out, i noticed breakage along my hairline. i wear twists covered in a wig. how can i fix this?

This looks really good! I would really love to get a curly sew in, but I tried a sew in once and It felt like my head was on lock down!? Do all of them feel that way, I couldn't get to my scalp?

It's really nice however I particularly like your natural hair. With this hair you just blend in, not set apart. Sorry :( I'm just a natural hair guru, don't care for the straight hair anymore. Been there done that. I'm just lovin me some nappy, nappy..:) Cute hair cut though. Be blessed.

Love your hair!!! How long did it take and I have heard sew ins can really hurt. Was that true for you.

@pyeanna78 It took about 2 hours long. It did not hurt at all. I've been going to Ms. Jasmine Nicole for my sew ins for over 5 years now though. If you find a good stylist stick with her. I've went to stylists before who literally beat up my scalp and sewed the tracks to where it pulled on my edges to the point where they fell out.
