Really, the odd ball is Silvistri's WitchBlade, but that was reimagined entirely save but for the weapon itself. Gorgeous animation but Japanified.

By that logic a comic book is just some piece of paper with ink dye on it. It's a piece of history man, at least at the the time, and Todd wanted to collect it, that's what collectors do, they collect history.

Maybe you're not putting "buying things" into perspective. When you pay $2.7mil for a baseball it is very different than paying $2.7 on fossil fuels or a dumb project that uses a bunch of people's time. The money was just shifted, but didn't in any way take away money from someone, else because the money didn't evaporate.
