Hey! Thanks for the reminder - I'd lost track of that file, it's Sara Furrer and I just went and bought it (again) on iTunes. It's from her CD "One More Page"
So have you heard about the possible underground "counterbalance" tour? If so, what do you think of that? Also, what would you think of a funicular (uphill railway) going in on the "ave"? They have one called "Angels Flight" in L.A. if you want a reference to what it looks like.
I grew up at the corner of Queen Anne Ave and Smith St. Looking back at pictures from the 80's, all the empty parking space up and down the block seems impossible. Now it's almost a fight to get a spot on my folks block. Seattle has changed so much and Queen Anne population must have doubled the last 25 years:( At least the real estate is worth a hell of a lot to compensate.
i'm not quite sure what possessed you to make such a video, but i think it's quite amazing, as i just may be moving to seattle, but may not have the opportunity to visit before i make the move...so pretending i was driving through the streets of seattle was quite awesome. thanks.
1. cover of "Slave To Love" Roxy Music - 2. cover of Moody Blues "Never Comes The Day" from a Nashville tribute to the Moody Blues called "Moody Bluegrass" 3. Concrete Blonde "Joey"

I'm in Montlake and have never lived on QA - I would suggest Craigslist - look for ads and write one. CL is where I find renters for my rooms.

Where is all the traffic that I have to deal with on this street? This makes it look like nobody lives here! How serene!

It's been so long ago, but it MUST have been a Sunday morning or a holiday!
Talk about traffic - I now live in Montlake between the Ship Canal & 520, so.... *L*

Good video! Nice job catching an almost-accident beneath the monorail track. Some of those drivers need some help!

All I saw was a driver yielding for pedestrians. Where is the almost-accident?

A Sunday morning drive with the rental car from the U - District! Also, I was up on Highland Dr and did the loop back around from Kerry View Park.
