Just wanted to let u know that I got it in the mail today, (2 days from order!), extremely fast shipping, fantastic customer service and an amazing e cig mod! This thing is extremely well built with an absolutely amazing touch switch that fires every single time! And vapor?? Yes, this is a Vaping Monster that I feel will last for years!
Come on man. Hit that mod like a man! I want to buy this so bad but I am a vapor hog and really want to see it when i vape. I also want a consistent ~5v experience. Can you plz make some vids with lots of vapor clouds and no dud pulls?
If the mod is sitting on the table straight up, the batteries will not vent. When a battery fails, it produces heat and small amounts a gas which if not vented can turn a mod into a pipe bomb. But the amount will not effect the user at all if it comes out the side or bottom, just as long as it doesn't built up in the mod. This is the reason why we do not use good batteries that will cut off before this happens. This info comes from one of the engineers at a battery company.

From such humble beginnings.
You should put your vent holes in the bottom, you want any gas exhausting away, not at the user.
