im running 4 x omnitronic bx1850 600w rms @ 8 ohm 18" bass

& 2 x omnitronic twin 15" 1000w @8 ohm mid & treble

& 2 x jb tx 15s 15" + horns 250w @8 ohm mid & treble

bass run at 4 ohm by a jb c2 800 amp (800w rms per side)

mid & treble run at 4 ohm by a jb vx 700 ( 350w rms per side)

two amps run using a active crossover

with this sound setup i find that i never have to push the amps & i never even in much bigger venus have 2 take the master fader over 7 so it never distorts @ high vol

Is it me or were you running 4 x 18's. 4 x 15's plus full range cabs ? ... how big was the room ? lol
