the rhythm for your verse is very slightly off. at the beginning of the phrase the chords are played twice in succession, there is no note in between.

@downbender Guitars of even the same make can have different sounds. Based on the different batches of wood brought in for use. Plus I think the guitar has a bigger body also giving a different tone. SO there are plenty of reasons. If you got the cash :p

It is missing the fluidity, maintenance of rhythm and feel that John plays it with. He should use his ear to compare his version with John's and see the parts where he's lacking. I'm not trying to nitpick but also don't like to see mediocrity adulated. Maybe I'm jealous ;)
