  • Brilliant. The original flipside had Mary Ford singing "Tennessee Waltz", which I believe was the first double duet ever recorded.

  • I remember my dad telling me it was the first echo recording using multiple layers.

  • Great old sound, you don't hear today. I have the same track on my site at David481146, would like your comments. David . . .

  • @David481146 Thanks! I'll check your post out.

  • I love this! I used to listen to this when I was a kid - lotta years ago. The sound was unique and I love unique!

    Thanks for posting!

  • My grandmother had this record. I remember playing it many times when I was a little girl.

  • R.I.P Les Paul. Without him, there won't be any The Legendary Guitar Gibson Les Paul. He plays blues in mix of classical music!!!

  • i used to have this 78! it was hanging on my wall. great to hear it again!

  • I'm glad I have it for you to listen to again.

  • The sound is so other-worldly. And the fact that you are playing it on such a vintage phonograph seems somehow surreal to me. What a trip! Les was surely one amazing guy! I've been very busy but I wanted to check out your channel as I haven't been here for a while. I will say that I am NEVER disappointed and am simply amazed at your collection. Have a very happy Thanksgiving!

  • Thank you sir! It's good that you're back and have found a bit of free time. I appreciate the fact that you're enjoying my channel. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

  • Thanx for postin'!
