recently, i have noticed an evolution of sorts... in your videos. there's this affected performance that appears to be permeating your work, which is a bit distracting from the message. and, while your poems are wide-ranging in thoughts and emotions, your delivery of them has become a kind of one-note samba.
i hope that the beautiful and incredibly gifted poet that i once knew isn't eclipsed into oblivion. for that would truly be... the most painful of tragedies.
first off, the biggest change made to my reading style is to go slower, so that people can gather the message, i started reading the lines the way they always have in my head. the change is that i was trying to hurry and get to end before, and while here i found what i beleive to be my calling being spoken word or performance poetry, so if the result is not the poet you have liked than i apologise but she never was me,
when i started you tube i was at a desolate place known as recovery, i have changed, i am more myself now than ever, content in the things i do with my life, making sainity something i can apprechate. saving myself from a thousand things i cant tolerate about what i was born to be, finding beauty in what i have. and i am understanding it now, my work will always progress with me, and i dont see how thats wrong when its not an option, or a downfall when its always served as wings, to fly away.
Living in the now - it's the only way to go!

in the final analysis... you are abolutely right. as an artist, you have the right to grow... and evolve as you see fit.

Love that line: "now that responsibility and logic made off with the magic to our meaning" And all the rest of the lines, too.
