On PlayStation Network, It says it has Rayman 2 as a PSOne classic. The PlayStation site says it's the PS1 version, but on the ESRB website, it says its the remake. I'm so confused! I guess I'm gonna have to download it and see.

The cheesy voices added in the PS2 version of the game are really stupid. The PC version of the game is much better all around, IMO.

@coolgamerecordings There's an option to turn that off into gibberish. Not sure if it's true or not, but it doesn't matter. I played the N64 and PC version and it's slower than the remake. Graphics are better. Gameplay is better. There are more fun levels. Gameplay is faster.

sadly rayman 2 is a fail to me because it lost its original rayman cartoony style its stupidity made rayman great but this is just not right because theres no random faces or stupid people trying to kill you! and theres mosquitos as enemies exactly like the first boss in the first game that dont even hurt you! sorry ubisoft but you rayman 2 isnt right

@vingamer0723 This really is different. That mosquito character you freed was not in the N64 either. The pirate are more creative and aggressive on here and there are a few tweaks in the level designs. Cool remixes of N64 music is played. Fortunately this is all for the better. The game is also fast paced compared to the N64.

@DarkIceSaiko I've only played the PS2 and PS1 versions. It's hard to recall the exact differences between them because I haven't played the Ps1 version since I was young. I don't own it anymore. I have played the ps1 version on an emulator recently, and they are more differences that I didn't point out.

I TOTALLY agree! I had this game on the PC and i've noticed that LOADZ of parts etc or so totally nt on the PC!!! There ws this really long swimming bit (on the PC game) + i could NEVER get past that bit! Bt...that bit isn't in the PS2 game!!! :)

You'll get the "Rain Dance" ability later on when you complete the Pirate Mines level. Every time you see something with a rain cloud above it you use the ability there.
