I'll never understand it, what was wrong with the last two evangelion endings they made perfect sense.. Hell they went right out and explained what was happening in them if you listen. What are people so confused about?

They had already decided on heer pigtails and mismatched accessories, but the pilotic clips are missing and her glasses got a lot thicker... The way her hair falls around her face was also changed a little, those bangs at the sides got longer, and of course, she's missing her trademark crazy expression.
I like how Shinji looks psycho at 0:21 or something. He looks so weak all the time so I aprecciate when he has an agressive or brave expression on his face :)

It's REAL. It "kinda" resembles with what Rebuild 1.0 tells us about the next part. but this probably came out before the Rebuild 1.0 I guess, and they changed it a bit in the meantime.
And oh yes, Misato-san tells us about units 02,04,03 and... 06... appearing. And promises more fanservice :)

In the end Shinji discovers his worth and that he is a person who should live and exist and nobody thinks less of him for anything. That it was all in his head.
The movie ending could be taken as a bit depressing. But all in all it has a good ending if you switch your perceptions. Which is what the T.V. ending tried to say.
Continuing~ In the end Shinji's mother, Yui, says that all human have the power to return. If they have the will to live and can imagine themselves in their own hearts. Everyone can comeback so they aren't permanently dead by the show's standards. But it is an interpretive show, as I said before. You are supposed to take it the way you think it should be viewed. But it isn't "Fucked up" Nor does it suck. You just need to understand it better.... Try watching it again and listen to what they say.
Nobody is making you watch it. So there's no need to complain or whine about how much you didn't like the series. Not to say that your opinion doesn't matter. It's just that you don't have to watch the new ending if you don't want to.
Fyi, most of those letters, text messages etc. shown in End of Evangelion aren't death threats directed at Hideaki Anno. Of course it all flashes by and the message left by the famous Don't-make-me-repeat-myself Otaku, who we all have a soft spot for somewhere in our heart (<3), stays with you more.

well in this version they will be condensing the movies to 4, so they will have to cut back on things. Rebuild wasant sopoused to be an episode per episode reconstruction of the original series to begin with anyways.
Actually, about Eva 08 to 13, SEELE doesn't appear to exist in this alternate retelling (check 1.0) so it may just go up to Eva 05 and stop. Kaworu may not get his own Eva (or show up in this at all for that matter XD), so on and so forth. Hideki Anno is really pushing the boundaries now that he's not apart of Gainax. Amen to that ^^.
Sure it would. It would change the story line entirely. As for them not being mentioned, the mask of Seele that was on Lilith all the way up to the beginning of End of Evangelion is removed in Rebuild 1.0 when Misato shows Shinji Lilith (which is also completely new and against the old story line where Misato had to force the truth out of Ritsuko).

from what I can remember of the preview at the end of the first Rebuild, (I saw 1.0 on 2nd September), it looks like 2.0 will follow the PS2 game 'Evangelion 2nd'. The F-Type Armour from those games will definately feature, and it's also where a new mecha comes into play, possibly a redesigned JetAlone. Asuka joins in the next one also. Most importantly, 'Saavisuu, saavisuu' was promised, true to tradition.

just one thing, i like where all this is going with the next movie since i think the first one was a intro so then they can modifie the plot way different (i like changes) but i will seriously will hate the last movie if it ends similar to "the end of evangelion" even if its almost impossible for it to happen i still say it

Evangelion 1 you are not alone will be released in New Zealand on 6.8.2008, it is not an official release i guess, its becasuse of the Dunedin Film Festival, anyway for the first time people out of japan can see this on the big screen!

Why 01 didn't save Shinji, from falling lights like in original. They don't fall at all :S
Its not awesome like original episodes...
I think that the original was telling the story of 90's and this one is story of our time, 2000 and on. The lights don't fall ^_!
In the original nge there were 22 angels, but they had to reduce them to 17 because they were out of founds. Now there will be only 10.
The story is not the same. For me best version is 2004 remastered.

well in this version they will be condensing the movies to 4, so they will have to cut back on things. Rebuild wasant sopoused to be an episode per episode reconstruction of the original series to begin with anyways.

Actually, about Eva 08 to 13, SEELE doesn't appear to exist in this alternate retelling (check 1.0) so it may just go up to Eva 05 and stop. Kaworu may not get his own Eva (or show up in this at all for that matter XD), so on and so forth. Hideki Anno is really pushing the boundaries now that he's not apart of Gainax. Amen to that ^^.

In The Preview we can see that there's an Eva 05 (from somewhere of the world) and an Eva 06 (from Moon).....
Asuka arrives in Japan...And, We all know that she needs a hard glorious work, the only way to be better than Shinji...
Probably the End of evangelion will not repeet....
Than, I don't knows what Anno will done to the End...

Seele probably just hasn't been mentioned yet, it would make no sense to cut them out.

Sure it would. It would change the story line entirely. As for them not being mentioned, the mask of Seele that was on Lilith all the way up to the beginning of End of Evangelion is removed in Rebuild 1.0 when Misato shows Shinji Lilith (which is also completely new and against the old story line where Misato had to force the truth out of Ritsuko).
Seele may seriously just not exist ^^

It would make no sense for Gainax to design a new Seele logo if they planned to cut Seele from the movies.
...Not to mention Kaworu has a convetsation with Seele on the Moon. No, Seele definitely exist in the Rebuild movies.

from what I can remember of the preview at the end of the first Rebuild, (I saw 1.0 on 2nd September), it looks like 2.0 will follow the PS2 game 'Evangelion 2nd'. The F-Type Armour from those games will definately feature, and it's also where a new mecha comes into play, possibly a redesigned JetAlone. Asuka joins in the next one also. Most importantly, 'Saavisuu, saavisuu' was promised, true to tradition.

Rebuild of Evangelion was released on September 1 2007, the second movie is due sometime 2008, its problaly already out but if you realy want to know SEARCH THE WEB. no official dates for an american realease, according to ImdB the first ROE is due in america in Feb 22, 2008 no further details are provided.
