The Lancelot in the movie (Franco Nero) was wooden, and just came across as obnoxious. This performance is more likeable. I still don't like Lancelot as a character, but it made me laugh, especially the way he said "C'est Moi", at the end of each verse.
I didn't think I could take anyone seriously after Robert Goulet doing this, but he is on par with him. And I love the comedy? Thanks so much for posting.

Saw this live on TV last May! Wish I had seen it live from Lincoln Center, instead.
Nathan has a good strong voice almost like Robert Goulet, I thought. Great casting as Lancelot !
