nope, it must be the camera's autofocus, as its very quiet you can hear the motor adjusting.... ;-)

very nice and very old, It´s from around 1880, made in Paris, the Mercury-Pendulum is to compensate temparature-differences, the whole Clock is "Feuervergoldet"--- Firegoldened? don´t know the english word for it.
