What a trooper. Petula Clark had a sensational voice, and most everything she sang was pleasing. I might add she was a beautiful woman. She was a highlight of the 60's and 70's.

this is one of the most beautiful songs ever! This song can be enjoyed anytime, not only at weddings. It not only sings about love but also of true faith, for it says"whenever 2 or more of you are gathered in HIS name, there is LOVE!" And it's so true! That's why we get married, have families and friends because of LOVE we gather in HIS name!

I am turning 50 this year and remember this song when I was growing up. I have not heard this song for a long time and hearing it again after being married for 24 years makes me think how much I love my wife and how lucky I am...thankyou for posting

Being of Scottish descent, we opted for the music of a Scots' group, Capercaillie.

Not that it made any difference-the marriage only lasted four years, after being together previously for thirteen. It's those darn rings-they really seem to have a less-than-hoped for effect much of the time!

This was played at the very first wedding I ever attended, back in 1974. Unfortunately, the marriage only last two years. Some thirty-two years later, in planning my own wedding, I chose not to have it played, admittedly out of dumb superstition.
